The below Nikuni testing data documents the bubble size and quantity of bubbles within
a specific range produced by a Nikuni pump. Testing was conducted on February 2,
2010. A total of 450 bubbles were measured and counted within this picture. The
distribution plots were generated from this information and are shown in figures 2 and 3
below.
Figure 1 below shows a micron ruler below the picture of bubbles generated from a
M20NPD07Z Nikuni Pump with a 1 HP motor. The photo and noise counter were used
to generate the data in Figure 2 – distribution graph of the number / size of bubbles in
picture.

Figure 1 – Micro-bubbles from Nikuni Pump Table 1 – Data from Test
with Micron Ruler
As is shown in Figure 2 – the largest quantity of bubbles are in the 5 – 8 micron range
(>75% of the bubbles).

Figure 2 – Distribution graph of Bubble Size vs. Number of Bubbles
Taking this data and generating a cumulative percentage plot, shows that 95% of the
bubbles generated from the Nikuni pump are less than 10 microns (see Figure 3).
