    Meals are important of the day, and more especially so during tours or trips, as moving
    from one destination to another can be tiring and exhausting. In Bohol, the best place to travel
    and eat at the same time can be found at Loboc. The Loboc River Cruise Floating Restaurant is
    one of the best attractions of the province, which can satisfy both our stomachs and eyes.
    Experience one of Bohol’s top attractions and embark on a lovely river cruise along the
    famed Loboc River. Enjoy a delectable buffet lunch featuring a variety of Filipino dishes on
    board a spacious boat. Be in awe of the beauty of Loboc River, known for its clear emerald
    waters surrounded by lush vegetation . Enjoy a one of a kind experience. Become part of the

    The Loboc River Cruise is also home to the Bohol Children’s Choir, which will entertain
    you as you cruise along the Loboc River, a well-known river. This river is one of the cleanest
    rivers in the country. This is the one tourist spot you do not want to miss during your tour in
    Bohol. You can have your lunch or dinner in the cruise. The cruise usually runs for an hour or
    even more.
    The food being served during the cruise is a sumptuous buffet of local dishes. The cruise
    and buffet costs around Php600 per person, and this includes a short cultural show by the local
    community. The menu usually includes an appetizer like spicy dilis or pork embutido, a salad
    which could be an ensaladang guso or a pinoy pick and mix, a soup which is usually an egg drop
    soup, entrees like pork humba, fried chicken, stir-fried tuna in garlic butter, crispy shrimps,
    pansit bam-i, mixed vegetables, humbang nangka and plain rice, and a dessert which may
    consists of fresh fruits or maja mais or coffee jelly or sometimes a rice cake.

    While eating, a band is serenading you in the background. Along the way, the locals live
    their lives as they normally do. Children are jumping from a tree branch, teenage boys are
    swimming on one side, and adults work by the river. It was a sight to behold. The boat would
    stop at one or two stations, where the guests would witness children and old folks alike
    performing native songs and dances.
    The sight of Busay Falls makes every guest stand up to take obligatory photos. It is a
    wonder to behold what the cruise has to offer – picturesque and natural sceneries, delicious
    food, beautiful music, wonderful dances and one of a kind of an experience. All these can only
    be found in Loboc River Cruise Floating Restaurant. There is none like it.

    HOW TO GET THERE?


    From Panglao International Airport, you ride the bus going to Dao’s Integrated Bus
    Terminal in Tagbilaran. You then ride a bus or jeepney going to Loboc. You will never miss it as
    it can be seen along the highway.
    You may also rent a car or a motorcycle in Panglao, input the place in your Waze App or
    through Google maps. Follow the map going to Loboc River Cruise.
    The best way would be to hire a van with a driver and enjoy guided tour. This is the
    most convenient and informational way. The Loboc River Cruise is usually part of any tour
    package. This will normally cost you around Php3,000 to Php4,000.
