RESOURCES
What needs to be set up before activity in HALL B
(completed by teachers and teacher aides)

25x school tables need to be placed 2m distances for students workspace.


Rubbish bins are on site (sharpener shaving)
Fishing line needs to be hung up on the opposite wall/roof to where students are
working to place their solar system distance models.
80x worksheets (with spare) need to be printed in A5 size and will be given to
students when activity will begin.

What each group should have in their working space

1x zip lock bag which includes:


1. 5m String
2. 8x different beads (corresponding with planets colour and size)
3. 1x plastic peg
4. And, 1x meter ruler for measurements

Each student needs to bring:

A clip board as something to write on.


Their school pencil case (rubber, pencil, sharpener)
Water bottle (optional) Water fountain is provided

These resources will be provided and set up by our teachers and teacher aides before the duration
of the STEM activity.
