NARRATIVE REPORT ON
THE CONDUCT OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL WORK IMMERSION
I. INTRODUCTION
The Work Immersion Program is one of the course requirements for graduation.
A SHS student has to undergo Work Immersion in a business organization or
establishment with work requirements related to the specialization.
Work Immersion is a part of the Senior High School Curriculum wherein the students
will spend 80 hours in doing actual work or Hands –on experience.
III. PRE-IMMERSION
On November 21, 2019, the conduct of pre-immersion has been accomplished. This
pre-immersion is a parent and student’s orientation in work immersion to orient them on the
background of the program. It was started with a prayer led by Wendell Mauricio followed by an
invocation led by Jemaimah Aves, both grade-12 students. The program was opened by Mrs.
Evelyn Serafica being the Grade 12 Adviser in behalf of Mrs. Rochelle Palapuz, the OIC who
had attended an urgent meeting held on the District.
The students were oriented by Ms. Hannae Alyza Pascua, the SHS Focal Person on
the work immersion venue, the duration of the activity and the list of task and activities that the
student should perform in the field. This includes the agreement of the parents on the said
activity. The rules and regulations on the work immersion was delivered by Mrs. Evelyn
Serafica, the work-immersion teacher. She also guides the parents in the accomplishment of
Parental consent and non-disclosure agreement.
The final discussion is the Preparation of Portfolio and resume. This will guide the
student on what will be documented on the work immersion proper.
The pre-immersion program was then successfully ended by the agreement of parents,
students and teachers and with the excitement of students to have their work immersion.
