• IS NDRRMC’s REGIONAL ARM. - MAINTAINS AN OPERATING FACILITY ON A
24-HOUR BASIS, KNOWN AS THE REGIONAL DISASTER RISK REDUCTION
AND MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS CENTER.
• REGIONAL DRRM COUNCIL DEPENDING ON THE SCOPE OR SIZE OF A
DISASTER, THE IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE NEW
DRRM LAW DEFINES WHEN THE DIFFERENT NATIONAL AND LOCAL
DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANGEMENT COUNCILS WILL BE
ACTIVATED: • BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (BDC) – IF A
BARANGAY IS AFFECTED • CITY/MUNICIPAL DISASTER RISK REDUCTION
