AM Bran Oil Company Ltd. was established in 2011 with a sole objective to provide the Most Healthy and
Heart Friendly Edible Rice Bran Oil to its consumers.
It is a joint-venture operation between Abdul Monem Ltd., Bangladesh and Surin Bran Oil Co. Ltd., Thailand.
Our rice bran oil is processed and refined in the state of art fully integrated plant which houses world-class
advanced technology. With utmost hygiene and strict quality control in place, we ensure timely supply for
every demand. Not just local, we are eyeing on the global market as well. And henceforth, we aim to be the
leading market player in production and distribution of our Rice Bran Oil.

Mr. A.S.M. Mohiuddin Monem is the Director of AMBOCL and Deputy Managing Director of Abdul Monem
Group. In keeping with the 'HEALTH COMES FIRST' philosophy of a growing number of Bangladeshis, AMBOCL
has been positioned by Abdul Monem Ltd. as edible oil that promotes all-round health. This is a reflection of
the dynamism and business expansion capabilities of him aligned with the group’s strength. His broad
knowledge of economic trade, commerce and bilateral relations spans within and across organizational and
national boundaries. In recognition of his extraordinary capability in business leadership he was elected the
Director of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industries (DCCI), the apex trade body of the country where his
suggestions have been highly valued. He is the only individual from the private sector to be the member of a
national committee for industrial development headed by the Prime Minister of the country and was included
in another high powered committee for privatization of state owned industries. Mr. Monem earned his
 Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering in 1991 and a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management in
1994 both from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A. honored with CUM LAUDE.

Apart from it, the viscosity of our oil is very light and bland. Hence, food cooked with it absorbs less oil which
