INTRODUCTION 1:
PAUL: The Senior High School Graduation Ceremony is about to begin. At this point, let me remind you to be
courteous around you by refraining from talking aloud.
MARAH: During the presentation of graduates, we encourage you to express your pride by applauding and
cheering.
PAUL & MARAH: Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.
PAUL: Graduation day is always a day of rejoicing for it marks the conclusion of an educational journey and
the commencement of another more uncertain and more difficult part of man’s quest for a better life and future.
MARAH: Truly, today signifies the culmination of many years of hard work in the relentless pursuit of
knowledge, a knowledge that will enable a person to embrace opportunities and to take on the challenges with
clear vision and purpose.
PAUL: Today, another history slowly unfolds as we come to an end of the school year 2018-2019.
PAUL & MARAH: Friends, welcome to the Senior High School Graduation Ceremony of Luy-a National
High School.
PAUL: With the theme: Unity in Diversity: Quality Education for All.
PROCESSIONAL:
MARAH: At this time, let us welcome the candidates for Graduation for School Year 2018-2019. This batch is
composed of 2 sections, namely: Grade-12 Apocalypse under the advisory of Ma’am Mary Jean Punay, and
Grade-12 Insurgent under the supervision of Ma’am Elna Necessario together with their proud parents.
PAUL: Let us also welcome the highly esteemed members of the academic community led by the dynamic and
supportive Public School District Supervisor and at the same time our confirming officer for today, Sir Rimson
N. Pelayo. Next is the epitome of empowered woman and a great school leader, our very own School Principal,
Madam Gemma C. Manlapaz, together with the vibrant and high calibers educators of this institution, honored
guests, barangay officials who are with us today headed by our barangay captain Calvin M. Bulalacao, PTA
officers spearheaded by Mrs. Vilma Gallos, students, alumni, and friends.
MARAH: The Senior High School Graduation Ceremony is now in order. May I request everyone to please all
rise as we pay tribute to our National Flag through the singing of the Philippine National Anthem to be
conducted by Ms. Cherrylyn L. Rapsing.

INTRODUCTION 2:
PAUL: Members of the graduating class, parents, honored guests, barangay and PTA Officials, and confirming
officer, I am Paul Romano Royo
MARAH: And I am Marah Cedillo
PAUL & MARAH: And we are your Ceremonial Masters for today.
PAUL: First and foremost, thank you to the members of the graduation committee who spent many long hours
planning this day and to the many others who have helped to organize and plan this very important event. Your
collaborative effort are very much appreciated.
WORDS OF WELCOME:
MARAH: It’s always a pleasure to have family and friends of LNHS’ students visiting our campus. Welcoming
you here for today’s event is especially meaningful as we honor our graduates and celebrate their achievements.
To formally welcome us all, may we call on the Batch 2019 with High Honors, let us put our hands together for
Leah R. Ibanez, for her words of welcome. A round of applause, please.
PAUL: Despite the calamities that hit us, completing the required 200 school days was never a blockade for the
85 students to pursue in completing the year level requirements. And now, the main highlight of today’s affair is
about to unfold in our midst. To do the honor of presenting this year’s candidates for graduation, may we have
on the stage our vibrant and stunning school principal, Madam Gemma C. Manlapaz. Let us give her a
resounding clap.
MARAH: Dear graduates, this is the moment you have been waiting for! The confirmation of the graduates and
message by the Public School District Supervisor of Aroroy West District, the man with exemplary
performance, none other than Sir Rimson N. Pelayo. Let us give him a reverberating round of applause.
PAUL: Thank you, Sir, for that meaningful and insightful speech and for that, may I request you to be on the
center stage to receive the Plaque of Appreciation to be handed out by Madam Gemma C. Manlapaz.
May I request the following persons to join them on the stage: our PTCA President, Mrs. Vilma Gallos, our
Barangay Captain, Mr. Calvin M. Bulalacao, and the Grade-12 advisers, Ma’am Mary Jean and Ma’am Elna for
the awarding of the Plaque of Appreciation to our Confirming officer.
DISTRIBUTION OF CERTIFICATES/DIPLOMA
MARAH: A certificate of graduation is the tangible evidence of being a graduate at a certain level of education.
This is now the fruit of each student’s endeavor. So to do the honors, may I request
______________________________ to assist our principal in handling out the diplomas to our graduates. At

PAUL: It is said that the quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to his or her commitment to excellence
regardless of the chosen field of endeavor. Ladies and gentlemen, let us recognize those students’ ordinary
things extraordinary well. Let us proceed to the awarding of certificates to honor graduates and special
awardees. May I request the congratulatory panel to please stay on the stage. And to start with… (reading of the
roll call, both emcees will do the honor).
MARAH: Congratulations once again to the honor graduates and special awardees. I bet your parents are
indeed so proud of your achievements. No doubt of that, I’m sure.
SPEECH OF GRATITUDE
PAUL: Saying and giving thank you to all the people behind your success is worth appreciating. To express
the sentiment of batch 2019, may I call on Beverly L. Manlapaz, student with high honors for her Speech of
Gratitude.
Thank you, Beverly, that was very moving! And once again, congratulations.
PLEDGE OF LOYALTY
MARAH: At this juncture, to lead their pledge of loyalty, may I call on Noelo E. Rapsing, SSG President.
GRADUATION SONG:
PAUL: Music is the expression of the soul, it moves emotions and feels with the movement of the time.
Through a song that emphasizes the strength amidst challenges, here are the graduates ready to sing from their
hearts one of the inspirational songs of Michael Bolton, “Go the Distance”.
TRIBUTE TO PARENTS
MARAH: That was an awesome delivery of lines and melody. At this point, the batch 2019 would have not
reached this far, if not because of the people beside them. The graduates would wish to take this opportunity to
thank their parents in one way or another for their unending support.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT
PAUL: To formally close today’s event, may I call on our school principal, Madam Gemma C. Manlapaz. A
