God reveals Godself to us through revelation, which establishes a personal relationship between God and humanity. Revelation comes in various forms, including through the Bible, Church tradition, and the Magisterium. The Bible is inspired by God and conveys spiritual truths through its literal, allegorical, moral, and anagogic senses. Interpreting Scripture requires both critical analysis and understanding the spiritual meanings and insights it provides about how Christians should view the world. God transcends gender but uses both masculine and feminine forms for self-revelation in ways that relate to human understanding.
