Definition of Terms
✓ Process Selection means factors related to project background, market analysis, and plant site selection, comparison
of manufacturing processes and selection of most feasible process. Detailed description of Selected Process.
✓ Individual Design Studies: This would include selection of a particular type of reactor/Separation/Heat Exchange
unit, process design of selected unit, Utility requirement (if any), possible mechanical design calculations
✓ Accuracy of Calculation: This means the assessment of Data used to calculate mass and energy balances and in the
process design is accurate and verifiable
✓ Communication and Reporting of Results: Contents, structure, formatting, referencing, and quality of
demonstration/thesis report.
