    ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

    First of all, I would like to express my special thanks to my lecturer, Madam Nor Azah for
    giving me this golden opportunity to do this wonderful assignments on few topics such as
    educational issues and diverse culture. I am really grateful for her assistance and guidance
    along the completion of this assignment.

    Furthermore, I would like to express their deep appreciation to all my classmates, friends
    and others who helped me throughout the whole time, explaining and answering my questions.
    Their help are sincerely appreciated and gratefully acknowledged.

    I would like to thank my parents and my family, whom shared their support all the time,
    either morally or mentally, by giving me their opinions and comments on my assignment, to
    check on my grammar and vocabularies in the essay and graphic organizers.

    The completion could not have been possible without the help and assistance of so
    many people whose names may not all be numerated, I would like to dedicate my deepest
    appreciation to all of them.
    REFLECTION

    Throughout the progression of this assignment, I have learned on new knowledge and
    skills. I have learned how to write an essay with correct grammar and suitable vocabularies, and
    gained knowledge about educational issues that are happening currently in Malaysia. I
    understood more about the latest news of that particular issue I worked on, which is about
    implementing high order thinking skills (HOTS) in education. Through this assignment, I got to
    know the challenges teachers faced while implementing HOTS in classes and ways to solve the
    problem in order to achieve the aim stated in Malaysian Education Blueprint 2013-2025.

    Besides, I have learned on how to create graphic organizers based on articles I have
    read. I did not know how to differentiate between articles and essays until I have done this
    assignment. I also realized that it was quite difficult to design the graphic organizers as I had to
    draw out the main ideas, supporting details and examples from articles before organizing it
    graphically. Graphic organizers had to be simple yet completely conclude the article, therefore it
    was quite difficult to make sure that all the points are highlighted and all the extra explanation
    did not put in to the graphic organizers.

    I am grateful for being able to complete this assignment as I have learned on new skills
    and knowledge that can be implied in future, if I am assigned to do assignments similarly to this.
