    QUESTIONED DOCUMENT EXAMINATION:

    Requisites:

    1. Letter Request: the document examination shall be based on a written request from any
    government agency thru a court order for any requesting party.
    The document shall not be re-examined if there is no judicial order, from the court which
    has jurisdiction of the case.

    2. Amount of standard:
     at least 8 specimens for signature identification;
     for handwriting, at least 5 standard documents;

    3. Date of Preparation:
    4. Writing Condition: only if possible, defers thru the writing condition of the author, the
    physical condition of the table you are writing on.
    5. Similarity of Subject Matter: if you have different kinds of signature, 2 kinds of
    signature: full signature, then initial signature. If the handwriting is scripted, then
    standard should also be longhand.
    6. Writing Instrument Used:

    Problems in Procuring Standards of Document:

    Two kinds of Standard Documents

    1. Collected: the day to day activities of either business, social or personal affairs.

    Field laboratory work: when a certified true copy from the original of the document is to be
    examined by personnel.

    2. Requested or Dictated Standards: executed upon the request of the investigating officer.

    John Hancock is the informal synonym of a signature.
