“CHANGE”
Change is constant and so are the people around the place.
- Since the beginning of time, children have always enjoyed the little things in
life. But as years passed, children have found new ways of spending their
free time exploring new things out of their curiosity that changes the future
of the youth. The story shows the difference between the “old” (Taximan’s
generation) and “new” (Lay Choo’s generation). It describes how the young
people of Singapore have grown to be bold and reckless.
“PROSTITUTION”
Marginalized families are the major contributor of prostitution.
“PARENTS LOVE”
A parent’s love is the only love that is truly selfless, unconditional, and forgiving.
- The Taximan’s unconditional love shows in the story as he works really hard
just to support her daughter. He also shows how proud he is of his daughter.
The taximan ended up getting disappointed with his daughter but he never
gave up on being a parent. It is one of the big challenges for most parents to
manage their children’s behavior but with the case of the taximan, He made
the right decision to correct and discipline her daughter in the proper degree
in order for her to wake up and straighten her mind. Our parents want us to
learn from our mistakes in life that’s why they try their best to discipline us.
We are imperfect and we are still very fragile but our parents will always
forgive and accept us. A parent’s love is the only love that is truly selfless,
unconditional, and forgiving. So as children, we need to appreciate them
because we never know what sacrifices they went through just to give us a
decent life.
