3. Description of the lift’s microcomputer. Electrical parameters

• The description is available for all the lifts with microcomputers type AMC528V8.
• All the signals connected to the computer are specified in Application No: 2

3.1. Information inputs.

• These are inputs of sensors and control points in the lift’s circuitry. Their condition is indicated from LEDs situated
behind the terminals for the computer connection.

• The working voltage on these inputs is 12 V – 18 V DC. The active level is 0V. The input consummation is
4mA in active condition.
• The green color is indication for a normal working condition and the potential on the respective control point is
correct.
• For the normal lift’s working it is necessary all the green LED to be switched on.
• The switching ON the red LED is indication for an emergency or a situation occurred, which prevents the normal
lift’s working. In most of the cases this condition is temporary caused by a moment switching on some sensors.
When the reason is eliminated the red LED switch off and the normal condition is restored.
• For the normal lift’s working it is necessary all the red LED to be switched off.
• The yellow LED show a moment condition on the control point to which they are connected. For the normal lift’s
working the both LED conditions are possible.

3.2. Inputs on the safety chain.

• These are inputs that control the safety chains: Car’s blockings /stop chains/; Shaft doors; Car doors; Chain on the
lockers. Their good working condition is indicated by green LEDs that should light upon good working chains.
• The working voltage on these inputs is 48V DC, +20%, -10%. The active level is 0V upon broken chains.
The consummation on every input is 10mA at working saferty chains.

3.3. Information in-out-puts.

• These are lines for passing/confirmation on car calls and floor calls. The passing of the call is indicated with the
switching on the LED behind the connected point toward the computer.
• The normal working voltage on these outputs is 12 – 18 V DC. The active level is 0V at active output. The
possible loading as an exit is - 100mA on each of them. The consummation on the input is 4mA on each of
them.

3.4. Information outputs

• These are the outputs for controlling the panels to the lift’s location and moving direction.
• The normal working voltage on these outputs is 12 – 18 V DC. The active level is 0V at active output. The
possible loading as an exit is - 500mA on each of them.

3.5. Relay outputs

These are the outputs which in the computer are realized with relays. Their capacity is defined by the voltage,
which they control and the luggage type /inductive or active/.
• The outputs for switching on the contactors – 60V DC, 600mA.
• Outputs for controlling the indication /control board moving direction, overload, gong and etc./ 18 V DC,
2000mA.

3.6. The system’s and scheme’s supply.

• These are: Power supply of the microcomputer; Power supply of the communication part in a system for lifts in
group; Power supply of the relay scheme on the lift; Power supply on the contactor chains; Power supply of the
direction indicators, overload and the scheme of the posistor protection.
• The must be realized exactly according the specific sheme. It is NOT ALLOWED to be submitted a voltage
different from those shown in the sheme and specified in TABLE 1!

3.7. Sheme zeroes

They must be realized exactly according to the specified sheme. They must be connected toward the system
zeroe.

3.8. Rezistive inputs Резистивни входове.

VD, VD1, VD2, VD3 – 12V DC /10 – 18V/
VT1 _ VT2 – 12V AC; + , - 20%.

The boundaries of the voltages are written as bellow:

Lower bound – at maximum load on the cain; Uper bound – on an empty move /without any loading weight/

5. Magnet configuration’s requirements.

5.1. One-speed lift’s magnet configuration

• The path magnets are arranged in one row.
• There is only one path sensor. The terminals 63U and 63N are put on a short circuit.
• The minimum length of the magnet is defined according to the formula:

S=20V
20.5.2016 г. Page 3 of 18
Alphalift Ltd. V3.04/10.05.2016

- S - is the length of the magnet in mm,

- V - is the moving speed in m/S.

The recommended length of the magnet is 100 mm. /the length of the magnet path is the zone where the path sensor
is active./

• The magnets toward the final stops must NOT match with the final stop’s switchers. Before the final stop’s
switcher is activated - the path sensor must be left the magnet zone
• If the lift is with automatic doors a second magnet configuration must be mounted. The magnets are also
ordered in one row and they are named “Magnets Door zone”. Their length is defined of the zone dimension
around the stop’s place where the doors opening is allowed. The recommended “Zone door” magnet’s length
is 300 mm.

• The configuration of the magnet road with bistable road sensors for one-speed lift is shown at APPLICATION № 5

5.2. Two-speed lift’s magnet configuration

• The path magnets are arranged in one row – there are three magnets on the middle stops and two on the final
stops.
• The path sensors are TWO and are situated one above other, as 63:U is situated underneath. The necessary
stop’s precision is reached by regulating the distance between the sensors and the length of the magnet
configuration. When the lift is stopped the both sensors must be in the zone “exact stop”.
• A path configuration is detected by the controller when the both sensors have been in its zone at least 20mS.
The same is valid for the between-magnet distances. The between-magnet distances are considered for
detected when the both sensors are not in the magnet’s zone at least 20mS.

From the above follows that the minimum lengths of the magnet configuration and the between-magnet distance are
determinated by the formula:

S=20V + А

Where:
- S is the length of the magnet configuration in mm,
- V is the speed in m/S
- А is the distance between the both sensors in mm./The magnet configuration’s length is the length of the
zone where the path sensors are active/

• The warning magnets at the final stops must NOT overlap with the final stop’s switchers. Before the final stop’s
switcher is activated - the path sensor must be left the magnet zone.

• If the lift is with automatic doors, a second magnet series is mounting. The magnet configurations are also
ordered in one raw and they are named: “Magnets Door Zone”. Their length is defined by the size of the zone
around the e stop’s platform where the door opening is allowed. It is obligatory the magnet “zone door” to be
longer and to be recognized before the magnet configuration for “exact stop”.

• The ordering of the magnet configuration with bi-stable path sensors for two-speed lift is shown in Application
No: 6

5.3. Magnet configuration at electrical lifts 1.6 m/S with smooth regulation of the speed /Magnet configuration type 2/.

• The passing from a hight to a slow speed is doing in the moving direction by the sensors 63:U, 63:N. At a
speed 1.6 m/S it is realized with entering the 63:U or 63:N in the active zone for the floor. At speed 1.0 m/S the
passing to slow speed is doing with a delay noted in a cell 63 from the installation memory after the entering
on 63:U or 63:N in the active zone of the floor.
• The stopping starts at the entering on the sensor 63 in the active zone of the floor. The exact of the stopping is
realized trough change of the parameter in cell 63 by the installation memory.

20.5.2016 г. Page 4 of 18
Alphalift Ltd. V3.04/10.05.2016
• The exact of the stop at adjusting is realized with the change of parameter in cell 66 from the installation
memory.
• The ordering of the magnet configuration with bistable road sensors for these lifts is showing in APPLICATION
№ 2.3.

5.4. Magnet configuration on two-speed hydraulic lift.

• All the requirements by the point 2.2 for the magnet configuration at the two-speed lift – remain the same for the
hydraulic lifts.
• The ordering of the magnet configuration with bi-stable path sensors for two-speed lift is shown in Application No:
6
• The ordering of the magnet configuration with bistable road sensors for hydraulic lifts on two stops is shown in
Application №6

5.5. Dependence on the length of the slow speed from the lift’s speed.

• The moment of the slow speed passing is defined by the lift’s speed. The magnets for the slow speed are mounted
on a distance from the elevation of the floor, which is speed dependence.
• This dependence is shown in APPLICATION № 6

6. Requirements toward electrical parts mounting.

6.1. Requirements to the grounding installation.
All equipment in the shaft, car and machine room, that have ground marking or according to the standards
2
must have such marking, has to be ground with a wire with protected color isolation and section 2.5 mm if in
the circuitry is not indicated otherwise.
• All grounding conductors are collected in star center on the grounding rim in the control panel.
• The grounding conductor on the building’s installation is connected with the grounding pin in the control panel.
In absence of grounding pin, the grounding is done to terminal PE in the control panel.
• If the building installation is done on five-conductor line, it is obligatory in the main panel on the building to be
built in defect-power protection.
• If the building installation is donw on four-conductor line, the grounding is reliably connected with the
grounding conductor.

6.2. General requirements.

• It is forbidden connection on conductors to the electrical modules when they are under voltage.
• Conductors which are supplied with networking voltage or the same is commutating, as these with inductive
charge /451, 452, 453, 50, 57, 100, 151 etc./ must be separated in different flexi-cables. If these requirements are
hard to be realized, it is allowed at bar flexi-cable, these lines to be separated from the other signals with three
serial conductors from the line 80.
• At mounting on the door’s drives with a direct controlling engine it is necessary on the terminal block on the car
and in the control panel to be mounted RC filters. They are connected between each two lines from the engine
control. The absence of such circuits could lead malfunction in the controller’s work. The RC filter is consist of two
/for mono-phase engine/ or three /for thee-phase engine/ sections. Each section contains serial connected a
capacitor 100nF/1000V and a resistor 100 Ω/1W.

7. Configutaion of the Microcomputer Конфигуриране на микрокомпютъра.

The microcomputer MUST BE CONFIGURATED in production conditions. The written in this point could be used
only for a check, after incompetent invention or in change of a defective computer, if this is neseccary.

8. Working with the keypad and the indication on the microcomputer.

For making it easy the left indicator is named I1, and the right - I2. The buttons from left to right are named B1, B2,
B3, and B4.

8.1. Regime - indication.

This is a normal working regime on a regular working lift.

• In this regime the indicator I1 shows the current target, to which the lift is moving or awaits to be moving. The
indicator I2 is blinking and it shows the lift’s current location.
• The decimal point on I1 shows the condition on up direction but I2 – the condition on down-direction. If some of
the pints is lightning it means the respective direction is active.

8.2. Regime – Mistakes showing

In this regime are shown the following /the existing at the moment/ or arise during the working process faults, which
are eliminated in the checking moment.
• The microcomputer keeps in its memory the last 32 arise faults /mistakes/ .
• If the last faults /mistakes/ is from a same type they are written in the memory only once.
• If the number of the old faults is more than 32 the first’s digital code is losing.
• The code on the last arise fault if it is active at the checking moment is written on the display blinking. When
the fault is removed, the computer passes automatically in Indication regime /p. 9.1./ and the mistake is written
in the computer’s memory as a last arise mistake.
• In a Showing Mistake Regime is passing from Indication Regime after one time pushing the button B1.
On the display it is shown the code on the last arise fault. By pushing the button B1 it is possible to be checked the
th
last 16 faults /mistakes/ in opposite order /the 16 mistake is the first arise in the time/. After that the display shows
again the last arise mistake. The mistake’s buffer exhausting and the last mistake shown are indicated by lightning
the decimal point after I2 indicator. By so doing the mistakes could be checked repeatedly.
• This regime could be used in a normal lift’s working process. The computer will leave this regime by it selves
after a short time.
• Only the main faults are coded. The meaning of the codes is as bellow:

Е0 – Mistake missing
Е1 – Forbidden Floor callings /137/.

8.3. Regime - Installation /programming/.

This regime is used only by authorized and trained specialists!!!!

Every intervention in this regime by incompetent persons could cause

reset of the main computer functions, which could cause serious damages
and dangerous situations.

The programming is necessary to be set on the computer which is universal, the parameters for its concrete
application. The meaning is in the cells from the memory with a concert address to be set some parameters. The
installation is making in sixteen-ball code. In this connection it is necessary the operator to know the sixteen-ball
counting system. For a convenience in the table below are shown the correspondences between sixteen-ball and
ten-ball counting systems for all possible codes.

• The programming is doing in the following succession:

1. The control panel is switching in Revision regime. On the display is showing Indication St - blinking.
2. Entering a regime – showing an address from the installation memory. The button B4 is pushing. On the
display is showing a sign Pr - blinking, which shows, that it is entering in the Programming regime. The indication
Pr is replaced by the number of the program’s also blinking. After a short time it appearances address 10 on the
firs cell from the installation memory. This is a regime – showing the address from the installation memory. The
exiting from this regime and passing to p. 1 becomes again by pushing the B4.
3. Regime – reaching exact address from the installation memory. By buttons B2 – back and B 3 – forward it is
reaching the cell’s address, which contact should have to be changed.
4. Regime – changing the contents of concrete cell from the installation memory. After reaching the address of
the cell on p. 3 by pushing the button B1, it is entering the changing regime. On the display it is written for a short
time rd – blinking, after which is shown the cell’s contact also blinking. By pushing the button B3- forward and B2-
back it is reaching the necessary cell’s content. If it is necessary the new value - it is pushing the button B1. For a
short time on the display is written Ur, after which the microcomputer set automatically the regime due to p. 3. If
some changes are necessary it is passing again in regime due to p. 3 by pushing Button B4, without changing the
content.
5. Programming finish and return in Revision regime is making by second pushing the button B4. Shutting off the
Revision switcher brings the lift up to a normal work ready, passing trough original orientation.

It is very important to be known that in a Revision Regime it is possible to be changed unintentionally, some
of the cells in the installation memory. That’s why it is obligatory to be working with the buttons purposefully
and only in case of necessary.

The manufacturer IS NOT LIABLE for inappropriate reprogramming by

unauthorized persons!!!!

8.4. Description of the cells from the installation memory.

The description of the installation memory is shown in Application No: 1.

8.5. Direct indication on the lift’s location by seven-segment code.

• The system allows indication in seven-segment code with no application of a diode decoder. For that purpose the
regime is set in cell 15 from the installation memory.
• The code on the showing is written in the cells B0 – CF, there are two separate cells per each floor /it presumes
two-section display/. The first cell, contains seven-segment code for the right /young/ number, and the second for
the left /old/ number. The segments for each of the indicators are ordered in the following succession:

DP, G, F, E, D, C, B, A

• Switching on some of the segments is expressed by recording 1 in the segment’s location in the code.
Non lightning of the segments is expressed by written 0. It’s getting a code expression in binal code, which
one transformed in sixteen-ball code is setting up the information, that should have to be written in the
installation memory.
20.5.2016 г. Page 8 of 18
Alphalift Ltd. V3.04/10.05.2016
• The forming of seven-segment code requires more serious knowledge. For convenience - in Application No. 3 is
shown the code system for the most meeting symbols.

8.6. Matrix- and Segment- LCD indicators.

• For controlling of the matrix and LCD indicators are using the signals 401 – 408.
• The information is coding and these indicators CAN NOT be used coincident with other types /for example with
seven-segment/
• The indicator setting is doing by eight-ball block of keys, which are mounted on the controller’s indicator’s module.
• The keys position is shown in Application No: 4
• The code of the most popular symbols is shown in Application No: 3

9. General measures.

• Time by time, in dependence of the environment’s dusty level - it is necessary the electrical modules to be cleaned
with a soft brush.
• If there is a moisture in the control cabinet it is obligatory it to be eliminate /the simplest way is in the cabinet to be
left all the time a working electrical bulb/
