1.0 Course Purpose

To equip the learner with the basic concepts of computing technologies and different areas of
their applications.

i. Explain the basic concepts of computers and their components
ii. Describe the applications of computers to different fields and their impact to the
society.
iii. Use word processor, spreadsheet, graphics, presentation packages and the
