General Instructions:
1. This question paper contains two parts A and B. Each part is compulsory. Part A carries
24 marks and Part B carries 56 marks
2. Part-A has Objective Type Questions and Part -B has Descriptive Type Questions
3. Both Part A and Part B have choices.
Part-A:
1. It consists of two sections-I and II.
2. Section I comprises of 16 very short answer type questions.
3. Section II contains 2 case studies. Each case study comprises of 4 case-based
questions.
Part-B:
1. It consists of three sections- III,IV and V.
2. Section III comprises of 10 questions of 2 marks each.
3. Section IV comprises of 7 questions of 3 marks each.
4. Section V comprises of 3 questions of 5 marks each.

17- In two different societies, there are some school going students - 1x4
including girls as well as boys.Satish forms two sets with these
students, as his college project.
Let A = {a1, a2 , a3, a4 , a5] and B = {b1 , b2 , b3, b4}where iai ’s and
bi ’s are the school going students of first and second society
respectively.Satish decides to explore these sets for various types of
relations and functions.
Using the information given above, answer the following :
(i) Satish wishes to know the number of reflexive relations defined on
set A. How many such relations are possible?

contains 4 units /kg of vitamin A and 2 units /kg of vitamin B. Determine
the minimum cost of the mixture
