Tim Horton
Horton played 24 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). He played for the Toronto
Maple Leafs, New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Buffalo Sabres. His first signed was
with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1948; then, he was two season with the Pittsburgh Hornets of
the American Hockey League.
Two years later, he turned pro with the Toronto Maple Leafs' farm team until 1970.
He was named an NHL First Team All-Star three times: (1964, 1968, and 1969). He was selected
to the NHL Second Team three times: (1954, 1963, 1967).
In conclusion, Tim was a famous Canadian that helping the Toronto Maple Leafs win four
Conclusion Stanley Cups (1962–64, 1967), and who founded the popular North American restaurant
franchise Tim Horton’s. He taught “If we keep winning, our destiny is in our own hands” .
