    “Sulong sa Pagbasa Program”

    II. Project Proponents:


    This project is headed by the Supreme Student Government of SADMIS

    III. Project Rationale:


    In line with the aim of the Department of Education to ensure continuity of
    education amidst pandemic, the SSG officers of this school have come up with
    “Sulong sa Pagbasa Program to help improve reading skills of the students and
    improve their academic performance.

    IV. Project Objectives:


     To enhance the reading skills of the students
     To improve their academic performance
     To help learners appreciate the love of reading.

    V. Project Description
    “Sulong sa Pagbasa” program is a collaboration of the language teachers and
    the SSG officers to help learners appreciate the love of reading. The school will be
    bringing varied reading materials to the different barangays nearby that can be used
    in some reading activities like pair and share, picture analysis, read and me, read
    with them and storytelling. Learners from grades 7 to 10 are encourage to participate
    and be part of this one-of- a kind program.

    VI. Project Duration:


     This program will commence on March 26, 2021 and will conclude on July 2,
    2021
     This will be conducted every Friday

    VII. Target Beneficiaries:


    This program is intended to all grades 7 to 10 learners in this school specially
    those learners under frustration level based from PHIL-IRI.

    VIII. Proposed Budget

    Transportation P60 (10 pax) x 12 days P 7,200.00
    Reproduction of Bondpaper – 200/reams x 10 P 2,000.00
    reading materials Ink – P120/ink x 3 P 360.00
    Snacks P50 (10pax) x 12 days P 6,000.00
    Total P 15,560.00

    IX. Monitoring and Evaluation:
    The project will be over all managed by the Supreme Student Government.
    Progress of the subject learners will be monitored by the advisers during the
    assessment period.
