Define Environmental Science

- The study of the interactions between nature’s physical, chemical, and biological components is
known as environmental science. As a consequence, it is a multidisciplinary science that includes
geology, hydrology, soil sciences, plant physiology, and ecology. Environmental scientists can be
trained in several fields; for example, a geochemist is knowledgeable in both geology and
chemistry.

Is it useful to us in learning about the environmental science?

- Environmental science is important because it examines the interactions and effects of

seemingly unrelated phenomena, enlightening us on the repercussions of our actions, such as
the influence of technology on the degradation of natural resources and the ecosystem, and
what we can do to reverse some of these disruptive forces and heal the environment while also
preserving ourselves.

What kind of environmental problem you can see in your place, explain how you can help in solving the
issue

- In my place Panas, Candijay, Bohol, the main problem was the waste disposal because people
here just throw their garbage anywhere even though there are many waste bags and trash cans
around. The best way that I can do to help solving this problem is by putting more trash bins
around the place and also help the people educate about throwing their wastes in the right
place, and I can also gather some of my co-youths to conduct a cleaning schedule in our place.
By this simple way I know that slowly our place will get over this problem.
