50mg/15 ml P.O. 3 times a day starting Colofac.

-Discontinue Colofac immediately

abdominal pain, bloody diarrhea, or
blood in the stool.

-Contact your physician immediately


if stomach cramps does not resolve
after discontinuation of Colofac.
Resume colofac again only if
stomach cramps has resolved and
your physician directs you to begin
taking the medication again.

-Stop taking Colofac and contact


your physician if IBS symptoms are
not adequately controlled after 2 wk
of medication.

-Do not breast feed while taking this


drug without consulting physician.
