Tell me more about your previous job?
I worked on an accounting firm and in JLB enterprises incorporated as an
accounting intern. In an accounting firm, the XIAS business Solution, I check all our client's transactions, and afterward, I will journalize it to the book of accounts. I need to be concise and faithful when it comes to journalizing because the book of accounts will be passed to BIR as part of our client's compliance. In JLB, I was in-charged in reconciling, checking the amounts written in the book of accounts and the receipts. Since the company is working in an overseas business, import and export agents business activities, we have a lot of transactions that need to be check detail by detail. I was also in-charged in journalizing, but unlike in XIAS, my task is to journalize in general journal and ledger only. I am also a freelancer, I assist students in doing paper works, and I also do tutorials. Why should we hire you? I can do all the given tasks and deliver exceptional results to the company. I am someone who understands work ethics. I can work hard to complete any job. I have a desire and passion for doing everything to the highest standard possible and a willingness to learn and develop continuously. If I'm a part of your organization, I will put my all efforts and skills into the growth of your organization. And, I will surely do my best and achieve every target that will benefit the company's growth. How much is your expected salary? I want to extend the reach of my knowledge and also my polish skills. Cyberbacker is a great company, so I am certain that the compensation will be range from 8,000 to 14,000 a month. How do you see yourself 3 years from now? I see myself three years from now; I see myself as a valuable employee contributing to the company's growth. I wish to become an expert in my field and take up a more significant role. I see myself managing a team effectively and helping the recruits learn the work. What windows are you currently on? My laptop is current on windows 10. Do you have a backup computer? I do have spare computer. What is the current speed of your internet? Our internet connection has a speed up to 30 mbps. Do you have back up internet? Yes, I have pocket WiFi and hot spots. If there’s a reason for you to leave the company what would it be? Maybe, I wanted to experience a new environment to continue growing. And, wanting to have well-rounded experience and gain a new perspective in my chosen career. What are your skills that we can use as a leverage in case you get hired? I am good at communicating, and I believe that effective communication is vital in dealing with our clients. As I worked as an accounting intern and a freelancer, trust is significant because that is the starting point for a healthy company and client relationship. I would contribute my learning capability to acquire new knowledge for attaining company goals. I will give my best to the organization with loyalty and hard work. And, I believe in team work for the progress of our and our company. What were the challenges you have on your previous job? And how did you overcome it? Since both my internships are done virtually, no one supervises us. We just went through orientation and were guided virtually. We have to deal with our clients' confidential transactions and organized my task accordingly. I have to do time management since I have deadlines to meet. I am accountable for the company's documents, and I need to be careful with it because there'll be a penalty if something happens to it. But, I was able to handle my internship very well. I communicate with my supervisor often if I have any questions regarding the task. I also list down all my deadlines to know what to prioritize and what to do. I also make sure that everything is on track, and I do my job at my very best and with integrity.
