    Calculate the median score in a Math quiz as shown in the table below:

    With the fourth class as the median class, = 23.5 , 𝑐𝑓! = 14, n/2 = 15, 𝑓" = 5, and

    𝑀𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑛 = 23.5 + × 4 = 𝟐𝟒. 𝟑

    Therefore, the median score in a Math quiz by 30 students is 24.3 score.

    In this frequency distribution table, the modal class is the fifth class because it has
    the highest frequency which is 7. So, L = 27.5, 𝑓"# = 7, 𝑓"#$% = 5, 𝑓"#&% = 4, 𝑤 = 4

    7−5
    𝑀𝑜𝑑𝑒 = 27.5 + × 4 = 𝟐𝟗. 𝟏
    (7 − 5) + (7 − 4)

    Hence, the mode of the score in a Math quiz by 30 students is 29.1 score.
