    Adverb clauses of result with such---that and so---that present the result of a situation
    that is stated in the first clause.

    Adverb clauses of result are introduced by:

    ➢ S + VERB+ SUCH+ NOUN OR NOUN PHRASE+ THAT + CLAUSE OF RESULT


     The subways were such a mess that people hated to ride them.

    ➢ S+ VERB + SO+ ADJECTIVE +THAT+ CLAUSE OF RESULT


     The shoe brand became so popular that sales went through the roof in only a
    few short months.

    ➢ SO+ VERB + ADVERB+ THAT + CLAUSE OF RESULT.


     The flu spread so quickly that 50 percent of Manhattanties were sick by the
    end of the week.
