    Dear Mr. Mejia,

    I am writing to express my strong interest in the position of front desk receptionist at your hotel,
    Makati Shangri-La for I saw that you are hiring on websites. I recently had my previous job at Grand Hyatt
    Hotel also here in Manila. I am a college graduate with extensive communication and management skills
    and has records of excellent written and oral communication. I believe that I would be an ideal fit for this
    position in your hotel.

    I am skilled in communicating effectively with diverse people across various platforms. In my


    position also as a front desk receptionist at Grand Hyatt Manila, I have encountered and welcomed so
    many guests and important people each day, may it be on the phone or in person. I also have answered
    guest queries via email and social media, which imposes that I am familiar with the technologies that are
    on trend nowadays, which I believe is one of my greater advantage.

    I am passionate about staying up to date with the latest trends in the hotel and restaurant industry
    nowadays. I have my two years of job experiences working with some of the most prominent hotels in the
    Philippines. I have gone through so many trainings and seminars which enabled me to be knowledgeable
    enough and to be who I am in front of you, writing this letter for you today.

    I believe that my experience, communication skills, interpersonal abilities and management skills
    would make me a strong fit for this position. I look forward to speaking with and more about my
    qualifications.

    TASK PERFORMANCE 1

    Goals and Plans for the Future

    Everything is changing nowadays, and has now become inevitable. But as


    we grow older, we tend to think of our things in the future because we need
    something to look forward to, and rely on. As for myself, my goal is to finish my
    studies and get myself a decent job for the first 2 years as I wrote this essay. The
    pandemic might have changed everything I was used to do and come into, but that
    doesn’t mean my dream stops here. Life has to move forward and we must adjust
    so we could thrive in this kind of situations.
    After graduating, I should get myself a job that’s fit for what I have trained
    myself with, related as much as possible to the course I took up in college. As I am
    working, I plan to save money and put in on my bank account so I would be able
    to take care of my money properly. Career and business is something that I like to
    pursue, so I would invest my money on business I know would be a good start.
    There is nothing wrong in pursuing things in the same time, as long as I know that
    I could manage my time for it. Investments are beneficial as I would plan to
    eventually have a family on my own. But before that, I would like to spoil my
    parents, build them a new home, help them start up on a business again, may it
    be a plant shop or a grocery store, so that they would have something to keep
    themselves busy and relaxed as well. It was my purpose as well, to give back and
    give them what they deserve, relaxation and other luxuries in life as they grow
    older. I would like to save money with regards to buying or building my own house,
    furnitures and savings for the education of my children.
