VII. EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID INSTRUCTIONS:


Eyes: IMMEDIATELY FLUSH EYES WITH FRESH WATER FOR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES. CONTACT
A PHYSICIAN AND GET AN EYE EXAMINATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Skin: REMOVE CONTAMINATED CLOTHING. WASH SKIN WITH SOAP AND WATER. GET
MEDICAL ATTENTION IF SKIN IRRITATION PERSISTS.
Ingestion: GIVE CONSCIOUS PATIENT TWO GLASSES OF MILK. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING UNLESS
INSTRUCTED TO DO SO BY A PHYSICIAN. GET MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY.
Inhalation: REMOVE PATIENT TO FRESH AIR. GIVE OXYGEN IF BREATHING IS DIFFICULT. CONSULT
WITH A PHYSICIAN IF LABORED BREATHING PERSISTS.

VIII. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION PROCEDURES:


Spill Response:
NOTIFY SAFETY PERSONNEL FOR LARGE SPILLS. APPROACH SPILL AREA UPWIND IF POSSIBLE. AVOID
BREATHING VAPORS. ELIMINATE SOURCES OF SPARKS, HEAT AND FLAMES. THOSE INVOLVED IN CLEAN-UP
NEED PROTECTION AGAINST SKIN AND EYE CONTACT AND INHALATION OF MIST AND VAPORS. RECOVER
SPILLED MATERIAL IN SALVAGE DRUMS.
Waste Disposal Method:
DISPOSE OF ACCORDING TO LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL REGULATIONS.
Handling:

Clothing: PROTECTIVE CLOTHING AND A CHEMICAL APRON.
Eyewear: FACE SHIELD AND/OR SAFETY GOGGLES.

Footwear: WEAR RUBBER BOOTS.
