How to be successful in this course?
• Class attendance and participation are essential
• Effective time management
• Communication (eg, absence, issues with assignments,
problems in the course)
• Seek help early
• Be prepared with questions and show your work.
• Identify at which point in the problem solving you are
experiencing difficulty
**Being prepared helps the professor help
you most efficiently

Expectations
Attendance/Missed Classes:
• You are responsible for all information discussed in class
(including revision of dates, deadlines, or content).
• Absent for scheduled assessment: Email your instructor as soon
as possible.
• Valid documentation, must be submitted within 3 days of your
return to class. Failure to do so will result in a zero grade for
the missed evaluation.
Be present
Recordings: Video/Photographs/Audio
• Recordings are NOT permitted unless expressed specifically in
an accommodation form. You must ask your professor for
permission.
