A firm has the cost function 𝐶 = − 7𝑥 + 111𝑥 + 50 and demand function 𝑥 =
100 − 𝑝.
i) Write the total revenue function in terms of 𝑥.
ii) Find the profit maximizing level of output 𝑥.
iii) What is the maximum profit?

a) Find the equation of regression line of 𝑦 on 𝑥, if the observations (𝑥, 𝑦) are as follows:

Also, find the estimated value of 𝑦 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑥 = 14.
