    Born on July 28, 1938
    1983-1993, professor and coordinator of the
    Cneter for Nursing research at the City University
    of New York's Hunter College.
    Founder and current editor of Nursing Science
    Quarterly and President of Discovery International
    Inc.
    Active fellow in the American Academy of Nursing.
    Published 9 books and more than 100 articles as
    well as editorials about matters pertinent to
    nursing.
    Published her theory of nursing first entitled as
    Man-Living-Health in 1981. However, in 1992 she
    changed it to Theory of Human Becoming.
