Identify moral and non-moral standards you have experienced or you have observed in your
community.

I. Moral standards
1. Telling the truth
2. Equal treatment
3. Be Respectful
4. Do not cheat
5. Be helpful
6. Do not be judgmental
7. Do not be jealous
8. Be kind
9. Be encourager
10. Keep your promise

Why do you consider them moral standards?

These moral standards I have listed are base from the norms of individuals or groups that
believed to be morally right and wrong. Also, these means that morality is value the most over
my self-interest.

II. Non-moral standards

1. Always greet your teachers


2. Eating 3 times a day
3. Drinking 5-8 glasses of water a day
4. Participating in class recitation
5. Wearing formal dress during birthday party
6. Wearing “sando” when it’s hot
7. Eating healthy food
8. Balance diet
9. No drinking alcohol
10. Not taking illegal drugs

Why do you categorize them as non-moral standards?

These moral standards are basically from the house, school, and society rules. In addition,
these rules are also unrelated to moral or ethical considerations.
