STRUCTURED INTERVIEW – AU PAIR CARE
It is necessary that each au pair applicant be interviewed in person by an authorized

AuPairCare representative.
The interview should last 1-2 hours and must be conducted in English. Applicant
responses should be recorded by the interviewer on this form.

Tip: The following is designed to be read as a script for the interviewer; however,
word substitutions may be made for the purpose of better comprehension for the au
pair. We also suggest that you explain to the au pair that there is no right or wrong
answer, and that they should take their time to respond honestly and as completely as
possible.

2. What characteristics or skills do you feel are most important to have in order to be a
successful au pair?
3. Have you ever traveled far from home without your family and friends? Yes No

family, but prior to arriving to the U.S. you WILL BE responsible for a $300 cancellation
