Period Planning Visit Discussion Guide Spring
In Period Planning Visits (PPVs), DMs and SMs work shoulder-to-shoulder to review SM plans for the period,
opportunities in store operations and locally relevant topics. Together, leaders evaluate store health through the
lens of partner, customer and business, prioritizing key activity. DMs audit items that must be documented for Store Manager Responsibilities
legal, regulatory or contractual purposes by reviewing the Daily Records Book during each visit.
Preparing for your PPV
•• Plan time to review the PPK, capturing and
clarifying activity for you and your store
•• When clarifying activity for the period,
assess standard or opportunity gaps that
could prevent success and consider impact
to existing plans (Store Action Plan)
•• Gather appropriate leading indicator data
from Decision Center
•• Prepare to share with your DM the activity
you have prioritized and planned for the
period
