ASSESSMENT
Identify possible communication blocks in the following situations:
a) interaction between a doctor and a child in pain - Psychological (the pain that the child felt and also being scared of the doctor) - Interpersonal (the child maybe have a behavior that prevent them from communicating or discourage others from speaking with you) b) a written letter with figurative language - Emotional (can trigger an emotional response that's inappropriate or assumed) - Physical Barriers (the hand written is maybe not clear leading to not understanding the letter at all) c) a speech with too many jargons - Cultural Barriers. (due to cultural variations between the sender and the receiver, there occurs a misinterpretation of meaning) - Language Barriers (some people may misinterpret that leads to miscommunication)
