I graduated last June 10, 2019 from Mindanao State University (MSU), General Santos
City with a degree of Bachelor of Arts major in Filipino. I also passed the recently
conducted licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) Secondary level. In experience as
a elementary school teacher, I taught grade 6 students. In the period of one year, I have
given effective classroom management, dynamic activities, well-constructed and detailed
student evaluations and well-complimented instructional delivery. Being a versatile
professional, I have taken the opportunity to learn variety of knowledge and experiences
which I could contribute to our system of education. As a result, I consider myself as a
compassionate teacher, who remains sensitive to students’ unique needs, employs
effective listening, provides individual and whole group support, integrates multi-cultural
teaching units, and offers positive reinforcement and encouragement to keep students
well focused and motivated.
2. If you rank attitude, skill, and knowledge from 1st to third according to his important in
teaching field, how you arrange it?
-In my opinion I will rank first is the Attitude, because if you have a right attitude you have
a real power to learn a new skill and a new knowledge. Second one, the knowledge if you
have a knowledge upon doing something you will have a better capacity of learning it, by
transforming it into your personal skill, above all what is most important for me is the
attitude if you have positive attitude towards work then everything will follow.
4. What is the most diffulty thing that you incounter in teaching experience?
-the most diffulty that I incountered is having very diverse group of learner inside the
classroom. I think having diverse group of learner is hard because they have different
cultural background, they have different religion, and they different understand of life. So,
in order to for me to overcome it, I try to understand the perception of each of every
learner. And I also integrated different instruction when I teach, so that all of this learners
cooperate with me and also they cooperate with one another.
7. If you have given a chance to choose between being an efficient and an effective
teacher, which one will you choose?
I really appreciate that question but, for me being a good teacher and excellent teacher
here in the Philippines you need a composition of 15 percent of being effective teacher
and another 15 percent of being efficient teacher because being effective alone touching
the heart of students without feeding their mine is nothing and also efficient teacher
feeding the mine without touching their heart and lives and without inspiring them is also
nothing. So for me to be a good a teacher here in the Philippines I need to be a 50, 50 of
the two.
12. how will you motivated the students who are having low interest on learning because
of financial problem.?
I Know how hard with this, to go school very limited allowance, I will tell them my story, I
will tell them that not everyone born rich, not everyone is able finish their study but those
with the heart with perseverance and dedication you will do it, you can do it. I will tell them
my story about that and I will also tell them that I will talk other teacher that if ever there
will be expensive project I will help him/her to talk to the teacher, to give him another
project with minimal cost . I will give that students a guarantee that money is not the key
to success but education is.
14. How would you manage children attitude from remotes areas with low lifestyle and
low status in life?
-I think I can manage children attitude or behaviour simply by making rules and regulation
inside the classroom and then reinforcing this rules and regulations so that this school will
be implanted in their minds. I think we should always remember that when we are giving
rule and regulation we should always give them love, care and support because living in
this kind of areas is not easy so the children should have somebody understand them
and show love.
15. if you hired, what are those things you have to do for the better of institution and for
the learners you are going to teach?
-if im hired as a deped teacher, I would like to focus on children first. Because I believe
the children are the product or its gonna be a product of the education system, the deped.
And think If the children are well though then you will have a better chance of a lot of a
better person in the society and well have a better chance of having people supporting
one another.
-I Think motivation is important in a lesson because the motivation cauches the attentation
of the learners. And according to Thorndike law of readiness “ a pupil or a learner can
leArn new thing when he or she ready to learn with that in mine we can have a better
change of teaching students and stealing them the knowledge that they need to learn.
18. why did you decide to become a teacher?
-I decided to become a teacher because when I am at early age I want to teach children
how to read, rignt and count and I would like to them grow into successful person when
we grow up and I would like also to teach them unconditionally and show support.
19. What kind of classroom management structure would you like to apply if you were
hired?
-if im hired as deped teacher, I would like to promote a nonviolence and child friendly
classroom management. Because I believe that punishing children WILL NOT help them
grow externally and internally. I would like to promote positive reinforcement, positive
teaching helping them resolve their problem without hurting anybody. I would like also to
promote letting the students, create their rules and regulation with my guidance so that I
can understand what do I expect from me or what do I expect from themselves and their
classes when they are already inside the classroom.
20. how would you deal with a the students who habitually late?
If a student come to school late, in regular basis I think first thing I would have to do is to
talk to the child so that I can know the cause why he or she coming to school late. And
then after what he or she might say, I think I will share it to principal to know the best
approach on how to solve the problem.
22. what would you say to an angry parent about their child grade?
-if I have a parent that is upset about his or her child grade, the first thing I would like to
do is to have a meeting with that parent and I would like to show evidences supporting
that the child is not doing well inside the school. I would like also to brainstorming that
parent so that we can find ways on how to teach his or her child to perform better during
assessment.
23. if you notice a child bullied in school, how would you deal with the situation?
- for me as a teacher, the first most impotant thing that you have to do during the beginning
of school year is to make rules together with the pupils. I would like them creat their own
rules and regulation with my guidance so that they CAN understand how to make rule
together and what to expect one another. i would also like to promote anti-bullying when
ever it is needed in a lesson and if I can see somebody bullying his or her own classmates
I would like to talk to them separately and find positivre ways on how to solve.
28. what can say about the learning modality in this new normal?
-we all know that we are facing new normal in the continuation of education, digital and
modular approach that no matter what modality we embrace as long as we are one vision
that is to target what is the most essential learning competency and as long as all
stakeholders will work together, we will all be successful this fight, we just need
collaboration and support from each other, let us all be with the department of education,
intervention and innovation and for sure we all past this new normal and we will all survive.
