INTROUDUCTION
Drugs can be harmful to everyone specially, if we use it improperly that our mind
and body will lead to addiction, destroy their future, having serious illness and lastly will
affect the relationship between there love one's. Drugs can quickly takeover our lives.
Friends and acquaintance have the greatest influence of using drugs during adolescence.
Sometimes I always ask myself why do people take illegal drugs? What the reason
behind? or what is the feeling if that illegal drugs come inside their body? The following
questions will surely build the curiosity of young people to try illegal drugs that will
surely ruin their own life.
BODY
Drugs are substances that change a person’s mental or physical state. They can
affect the way your brain works, how you feel and behave, your understanding and your
senses. This makes them unpredictable and dangerous, especially for young people. Here
are some I think following reason why young people try to take illegal drugs. People take
drugs because first and foremost they are curious and want to see what happens, they
want to fit in or feel pressured by their peers, they enjoy the effect on their body for
example, feeling excited and energetic, or relaxed and calm, they help them cope with
situations for example, reducing pain or relieving stress and they’ve have a drug
dependency and need to keep taking them to avoid withdrawal symptoms. Another
reason is the Environment Itself, many young people live in communities which suffer
from deprivation, with high unemployment, low quality housing and where the infra-
structure of local services is poorly resourced. In such community’s drug supply and use
often thrive as an alternative economy.
--- As well as any use that might be associated with the stress and boredom of living in
such communities, young people with poor job prospects may recognize the financial
advantages and status achievable through the business of small-scale drug supply. The
last reason I think of course it was mentioned above which is the Curiosity we humans
are naturally curious and want to experiment with different experiences. For some, drugs
are a good conversation point.
CONCLUSION
We People must be responsible specially the benefits that we can get from
different sort of drugs, we must be accountable in every decision and action that we
make, make it sure that no one is going to abuse or experience violence because of
our negligence and irresponsible mindset. Since the effects of drugs on health vary
greatly depending on the type of drug and on the way, it is used, the public health
response to drug use should be proportional to the health-related harm it causes. Use
of psychoactive substances is to be expected because of their pleasurable effects as
well as social influences. The greater the frequency and amount of drug used, the
higher the risk of becoming dependent. Effective public health policies and programs
that address not only drug dependence but also other forms of harmful drug use could
lead to a significant reduction in the overall health burden of drug use.
