Risk Assessment - Plumbing Pump Set

1. The risk assessment is for testing and commissioning of plumbing pump set systems for the Yasmina Brooks School Expansion project. 2. Two key activities were identified - work area preparation and material mobilization, loading and unloading. For each, potential hazards, risks, risk levels, and control measures to reduce the residual risk were outlined. 3. Control measures for work area preparation included barricading the work area, displaying signage and hazard warnings, giving attention to environmental impacts, and providing training and supervision. For material mobilization, control measures centered around following standards for hazardous materials and ergonomics, using PPE, erecting warning signs, and designating stacking areas.
