    Daily Weekly Maintenance Guide

    SCHWING STETTER BATCHING PLANT

    1) Check oil level in the air compressor-Daily

    2) Clean air compressor air filter –daily

    3) Check cut-off and cut-in air pressure of compressor, required is 8-10k.g/cm2 and 6-
    7.5k.g. /cm2

    4) Replace compressor oil every 250hours-(Use ELGI oil supplied by ELGI)

    5) Daily fill oil in oil lubricators (SERVO-32)-Daily

    6) Check if oil lubricators are working—Daily

    7) Check 5/2 Solenoid valves silencers if blocked replace

    8) Check air compressor oil condition in monsoon if any water content or change in
    colour is observed replace immediately

    9) Avoid rain water near or above air compressor

    10) Drain water from air compressor –Daily

    11) Check if Mixer safety limit switch is working – This is for safety purpose

    12) Check if skip safety limit switch is working-This is for safety purpose

    13) Check Control cabin limit switch’s working this is for safety purpose

    14) Check Mixer gear box oil level –if required top up (use oil recommended in Lubrication
    Chart)

    15) Clean mixer thoroughly-Daily

    16) Check mixer double horn shovels gap if required adjust –weekly

    17) Check mixer arm wear protection packing if required replace –weekly

    18) Replace mixer oil filter insert first 500hrs and then every 1000 hrs

    19) Lubricate mixer arms - weekly

    20) Clean the mixer discharge hopper - daily

    21) Check oil level of skip gear box weekly- if required top up
    22) Check wire rope condition of skip bucket if found standards breakage replace
    immediately

    23) Clean the skip track from aggregates-Daily

    24) Clean the mixer in case of long break or after every shift

    25) Clean the mixer inlet-daily.

    26) All rubber parts to be checked at weekly for wear and tear –and replace if required.

    27) Ventilation hose DN250 to the dust collecting hopper and ventilation hose to the
    cement weighing container-Weekly.

    28) Grease skip wire rope with graphite-based grease or cadmium compound –weekly.

    29) Clean the skip bucket daily from any sticky material -daily.

    30) Check the skip flap rubber seal and replace-Weekly.

    31) Check all fastening bolts once in two weeks tighten if required.

    32) Check all butterfly valves daily if found leaking replace seal kit-weekly.

    33) Seal all butterfly valves microswitchs from water and dust –this will increase the life.

    34) Check smooth operation of aggregate gates- daily.

    35) Check all fastening bolts of aggregate gates -weekly.

    36) Check silo level filter bags once in two weeks if found damaged replace.

    37) Replace screw conveyors gear box oil in first 500 hours next every 1000 hours.

    38) Check mixer wear plates double horn shovels ,if worn out replace.
