Narrative Report : Observation 1
Today, 23rd of June, me and my observation partner Mr. Ezey Marc Baccay
assigned to observed Mr. Victor Belango in his regular online class in Dr.
Arcadio Santos National High School. I was able to join in his meeting
through online flatform, Google Meet. The class started at 7 in the morning,
while waiting for his student in the class, he entertains his students who
attend the Google meet and greets them. we also included in the online class
a teacher who also observed for him. Before Mr. Victor Belango's class
started, he first caught the attention of his students and when he got
everyone's attention his class started with a prayer and was followed by an
introduction to his guests no one else but us. He introduced today’s topic
which is Basketball and he followed it up by reviewing the previous lessons
they had done, many answering Mr Belango's questions so his class had a
relationship and alive with each other. After the review, Mr. Belango
presented hir Objective for today, what students should be able to learn after
his class. because we can't have a face to face class, MR. Belango presented
the Video Presentation and watched it in class, after he presented it to the
whole class he went back to the details that can be seen in his presentation
and then he discussed it. his student is free to ask Mr. Belango while he was

discussing and Sir answered it immediately, if you notice every minute of

Mr. Belango is active, with almost no wasted time. She allows everyone in
her class to be free to talk as long as it is related to the topic being discussed
today. While sir is in the middle of agdidiscuss, he asks his students
situations related to today’s topic, such as what if a player is crippled? what
if something unexpected happens to a player, what should be done? powered
by Mr. Belango the HIgher Order Thinking Skill of his students to answer
Teacher's questions. And before the end of sir's discussion, he first asks his
students if they have learned anything from what Teacher discussed, but
they don't expect the teacher to recall about what he discussed today, and
each of sir's questions. and there is a so -called alas that his student will
inevitably not be able to answer, there are also students who cannot answer
due to technical problems such as no mic, no signal, and some of those
called by Teaceher can answer SIr's question. And in the end Mr.'s lesson
was over. Belango for today. It did not give an assignment but just said to do
advance reading about Recreational Activities

One of the things I can say from my first observation is that the Teacher is a
good teacher, because my basis for saying this is what our teacher taught us
when I was a Second Year student, Mr. Acero, the Gagnes Nine Event of
Introduction in which the qualities that a teacher must possess in his
teaching his students must be in accordance with it. First of all sir did some
of the Gagne's Nine Events that I am referring to, first before the class
started, he first took the attention of his students to make sure that the
learners are ready to learn and participate in activities and topics. that Mr.
will do. Belango. Secondly, he informed or told his students the objective of
their lesson today, then Teacher conducted a review or recall of their work
and lesson last week, this review helps to relate it to will be discussed today.

Next, the teacher provided Learning materials such as Power point

presentation and video presentation to show the students the content of sir's
lesson but PE Basketball, in fact we can say that the teacher I chose is a
good teacher to be observe because he learns his lesson well, we really enjoy
observing in class because sir is a bit naughty and he doesn't forget to talk to
his student so that his class doesn't become boring.

Narrative Report : Observation 2

Today, 29th of June, Tuesday, me and my observation partner Mr. E-

zey Marc Baccay assigned to observed Mr. Victor Belango in his regular
online class in Dr. Arcadio Santos National High School. We started our
class at 2 O’clock of the afternoon due to some preoblems of Mr.
Belango’s schedule.
Today the Teacher started his normal work in one class, but now it is
different, because no one is observing MR. Belango, who is a fellow
teacher at the school he attends, we are his students and my observing
partner, E-zey Marc Baccay, is the only one left, so we can talk more
freely. To start his class, Teacher led a prayer to greet his students, as is
the custom of the teacher to greet them one by one, so that the teacher
would know if his student was okay and also to know if he came in to
listen. , not to enter and it was still asleep and just entered the teacher's
class. As usual, the teacher showed his object or his students should learn
today, and moreover he began to introduce Recreational Activities, There
is only one thing I noticed in the teacher's discussion, he does not require
his students to open the camera, as much as possible they will keep the
data because of the hardships of life in this pandemic, so that the teacher
knows that his students are still there he asked it one by one, as if he knew
what they noticed in the image that the teacher showed, what they
understood about it, and it was fun to think that the students were

answering the teacher's questions. To make the recreational activity easier

to explain, the teacher gave various examples, such as planting, excersice
inside the home and other new activities that can be found inside and
outside our home. Even if Mr. Belango also presented a video
presentation of himself pushing-up to present in front of the class. before
the end of sir's class, the teacher didn't make an assignment because he
still had work left but to videotape himself while exercising. And he
finished his class quickly so that his students could start their work.
At the end of the Discussion with Mr. Belango, I enjoyed observing this
teacher twice because in his class you can see that the teacher is teaching
happily and his students are learning something, in fact, one Mr. Belango
to my favorite teachers at Arcadio while I was still a student there when it
came to extracurricular activities. And if I am lucky enough to be a
teacher, I will want to teach at the school where I finished in return for
them shaping my ability. I’ve learn a lot while listening to the teacher, like
today's pandemic activities, I even wonder what exactly I should do to
have fun and have fun in today's time, especially, that we do a lot in
school, school requirements that must be completed and passed

Date: July 08, 2021 Thursday
Narrative Report: Observation 3
My day of observation in our subject of study, education, was today,
June 23rd. When we were in Senior High School, our teacher, Ms.
Joyce Reyes, assigned us to join her synchronous class. She
admitted us early and while waiting for the other students, she was
problematic because some students had not joined the synchronous,
but she was thankful because there were 7 students who had joined
the synchronous. Ma'am Reyes instructed one student to pray before
beginning the conversation, and then she demonstrated the topic's
learning objectives, which are the fundamentals of speech delivery.
Then there's an example of a tongue twister that she read to each of
her pupils in three different speeds: slow, medium, and rapid. All of
the pupils read the example tongue twisters after they had practiced.
The function of a tongue twister was then described by ma'am
Reyes, followed by a video presentation on speech delivery.
Ma'am Reyes described the films after they were shown, and then
she asked the pupils one by one to answer the prepared questions
regarding the video. The pupils comprehend it, and each one is
correctly answered, demonstrating that they comprehend the video
provided by their teacher. After the two students do their "Speech
Delivery," they are very well prepared for their speech. Their
English is quite fluent and fluid; once the two pupils have
performed, Ma'am Reyes instructs her students to make a video

presentation on their speech delivery and submit it to her. The next

step is to take a picture of them for their attendance, and they all
received a plus for those who came to the meeting.
The third observation was a lot of fun and taught us a lot. Three of
us miss our instructor, Ma'am Reyes, since it is an honor to watch
her teach again, and her teaching techniques have not changed; she
is ready to explain things again if the kids do not understand. I
appreciate how Ma'am Reyes teaches her pupils; I had the
impression that I was seeing a face-to-face class because of her
topic, speech delivery, and the performance of two of her students in
this type of circumstance using an online learning platform. I
particularly enjoy it when Ma'am Reyes asks the kids a question,
waits for an answer, and calls it out again and again, expanding their
learning and knowledge of the subject.

Narrative Report with the in-service Teacher

This course requires us to observe on a high school campus of our choice, and we can
select any instructor to watch. As a result, we are able to observe their everyday routines and
activities in their classroom. When we're at the meeting, we'll need to observe the teacher's
numerous teaching approaches and methodologies. Teacher's biggest challenge is the new way
they educate, which is via an online platform. However, Mr. Victor Belango does his best to
teach every student that he has despite the difficulty of using diverse approaches and
methodologies in an online platform

Despite the epidemic, he wants to assist his students learn from him. Because she is used
to a face-to-face setting, Ms. Joyce Reyes wants to educate her pupils despite the fact that she is
not adept with technology. That way as a student, I can learn and appreciate things with Sir
Belango's personality.

Mr. Victor Belango was interviewed and we made notes on his answers in the interview
sheet. Virtual classes are held on Google Meet. This is what he said in his response to the
question, "What are your classroom habits that you find beneficial during an online class?"
Teachers like Mr. Belango try their best to teach their students, guide them through the school
year, and interact with them at all times.

Teaching is not an easy profession according to him, especially in this scenario.

However, he always tries his bit to reach his students, even if Virtual Class isn't the best or most
successful means to teach students. To communicate to the parents of the children in an
emergency scenario, he uses messenger to call them. When the internet connection is bad,
however, kids may find themselves in a difficult scenario where they cannot complete their
virtual lesson.

Having this kind of knowledge allows me to appreciate the efforts of my teachers and to
understand their teaching methods, attitudes, as well as personalities, which I respect and require
in order to create my own image as a teacher. From elementary school to college, I learned a lot
20

from observing and respecting my instructors. However, as I progress through the course and
learn their teaching techniques, I'm beginning to appreciate them, which I'll keep in mind for my
next actual discussion.
