Foundation ?

 The portion of a building/ structure which remains beneath the ground surface is called
as Foundation
 Foundation is also known as the sub-structure.

Footing ?

 Footing is that part of foundation which actually transmits the load of a structure to the
soil.

wall thickness = 20 cm
D.P.C = 5 cm
Footing depth = 1.2 m
Plinth height = 450 mm
