    0020 H R Routine / Production Test Per (A) IEC 60502-2, or (B) AEIC CS8

    0030 Construction: The construction shall meet all requirements listed in


    15-SAMSS-502 section 6,7 and 8

    0040 W a) Conductor Shall be stranded annealed copper in accordance with (A) IEC
    60228 Class 2 or (B) ASTM B8 Class B or ASTM B496.

    0050 W b) Conductor Shield Shall be extruded semicon, bonded to the insulation, in


    accordance with (A) IEC , 60502-2, or (B) AEIC CS8

    0060 W c) Insulation Shall be XLPE or EPR in accordance with (A) IEC 60502-2, or
    (B) AEIC CS8

    0070 W d) Insulation Semicon Shield Shall be extruded semicon in accordance with (A) IEC 60502-2,
    Or (B) AEIC CS8

    0080 W e) Insulation Metallic Shield Shall be copper tape(s), 0.1 mm min. thickness, 10% overlap.

    0090 W f) Metal Armor or Sheath If specified, shall be (A) galvanized steel double tape or steel
    wire armor (Aluminum for 1/c cables), or (B) Impervious
    aluminum or interlocked steel sheath.

    0100 W g) Outer Jacket Shall be sunlight and oil resistant; see 15-SAMSS-502 section 6
    & 7 for details.

    (3) If the cable is buried under water table, sabkah area then water protection requirement, according to15-SAMSS-502 Section 8.
