who are watching right now, a pleasant day to one and all.
#First and foremost, I would like to congratulate the proud
parents, guardians, teachers, and especially the graduates who have
successfully completed the school year 2020-2021. With the theme
"Strengthening the Quality of Education Amid the Covid 19
pandemic". Reina Mercedes National High School Commits itself to
continuously Strengthen the Quality of Education and ensures that No
Learner will be left behind.
# Today is another milestone and marks the remarkable day to
commemorate success to all of you, because you have surmounted the
challenges and obstacles of high school education. It is also the most
important day to celebrate your achievements, hardships, hard work
and perseverance. But Remember that today is not the end, But the
beginning of a new horizon of your lives.
#To continue my speech, I would like to tell this quotation from
an unknown author "The key to success is to focus on goals, not
obstacles"
"My dear students, sabihin mo nga sa sarili mo ngayon, na hindi
magiging hadlang ang pandemya na aking nararanasan o kahit ano
pang pagsubok na darating sa buhay ko para maabot ang mga pangarap
ko sa buhay" Dahil pandemya ka lang , tuloy parin ang pangarap ko!
My dear students always bear that in mind.
#I know that this school year was not easy to all of you because
there were many challenges and obstacles that you have to overcome
and now we are still experiencing one of the most difficult situations
the covid - 19 pandemic.This pandemic separated us from our friends,
family, relatives and teachers physically and from the traditional face to
face classes to modular distance learning, online distance learning, and
blended learning. Nevertheless you were able to finish another school
year and I would like to say congratulations to all of you because you
made it, even with our situation right now. This just proves amidst the
pandemic, we can still strengthens the quality of education.
# This covid 19 pandemic also changes the way we celebrate
today's event, that instead of gathering together to witness everyone
rejoice, as you walk on the stage, and receive the awards, we are doing
it virtually, and you are all watching through your cellphones, laptops
or even televisions. But this, does not change the truth that amid covid-
19 we are still celebrating everyone's success.
# When somebody told me that I am the guest speaker. I am on a
cloud nine! Yes! I am very happy, because being a guest speaker in my
alma mater, which is also now my workplace makes me more excited.
Why? Because talking in front of you all makes me the happiest, coz I
would be able to share my personal experiences when I was just like
you.
#High school life is like a roller coaster. Yes! There were many
ups and downs. There were many sleepless nights, tough times, and
more, but there were many happy memories that we must treasure in
our lives.
#When I was in high school I told myself am I done? Is it the end?
But these questions were answered by myself. Why? Because I know
that finishing my high school is one of the ladders of success that we
must not put to an end, but must continue to achieve our dreams in life.
# My high school life was not easy, coz there were many
challenges and obstacles that I have experienced, but these didn't stop
me to continue my studies, instead they served as my inspiration to
strive more. I’ve experienced many things, that will make this speech a
long one which takes many days, months or even years if I would be
able to make it one by one just kidding…..
#But I will give you some of those challenges that I've
encountered or that I have experienced. First is that I’ve experienced
going to school without money to buy my own food, I've experienced
eating chichiria, which I will never forget the karoke, halo-halo, and
muncher with rice as my lunch and sometimes my dinner, I've
experienced going to school wherein my pair of shoes was not good,
I've experienced going to school without new uniform, I've also
experienced seeing other students happy with their families celebrating
different occasions and I've experienced going to the stage without my
parents to join me and pin my award and of course to congratulate me
and I also became a working student. these are just to mention some
of my personal experiences, despite these experiences it did not hinder
me to go to school and finish my high school education.
#Fast forward, as I enter college challenges and obstacles were
always there, but I am very thankful to God because He guided me to
whom I am today, and Now I am harvesting the fruit of my hard work.
I am now a full fledge teacher of my alma mater which was formerly
known as Reina Mercedes Vocational and Industrial School- Annex,
now it is called Reina Mercedes National High School, This school is
one of the places where I started dreaming and I would like to say
thank you to all my teachers who have biggest part of my journey, for
honing me to be what I am right now. Maraming Salamat Po Sa Inyong
Lahat! Proud to say that I am a product of this school and I am forever
Grateful for that!
#My dear students, gusto kong sabihin na huwag na huwag yung
kakalimutang magpasalamat sa mga taong naging parte ng inyong
tagumpay , sa inyong mga kaibigan, mga guro o mga kamag anak at
lalong lalo na sa iniyong mga magulang who helped you and who have
supported you all the way. Who have been giving you genuine and
immeasurable love. At alam kong silang lahat ay proud na proud sa
inyo ngayon at palaging naniniwala sa inyong mga kakayahan.
 #And remember my dear STUDENTS, Always believe in
yourself , Follow your dreams, and of course, make a way to achieve
your dreams in life .BECAUSE dreaming without an action is just
dreaming. Instead make a way to achieve it! and let your negative
experiences in life as a positive motivation or inspiration to strive better
to attain your goals in life.
#And dear students be the best version of yourself and do not
ever compare your achievements and capabilities to others, instead
make your best to have your own achievements.
# WHEN you fail stand up, IF you make mistake correct it and
don’t lose hope and always face the challenges and obstacles that come
to your life and be courageous, be strong that you can thrive and make
those failures as an inspiration. Because failure is a part of success and
every person who is successful is for sure have faced challenges and
obstacles in his or her life. There is no such success in life that you can
achieve without hurdles and these hurdles will teach you lessons in life.
#That life goes on, and Amid this COVID - 19 pandemic we are
experiencing right now and any obstacles that will come to your life.
YOU must continue your education and don't stop to reach and achieve
your dreams. Just continue to soar high! In God's perfect time all your
hard works will be paid off!
