[ACS (Accessory Station)]
The Accessory Station (ACS) stores and manages the
long-term plant data of DIASYS Netmation®. It can also
be used as an interface for other control system and
external memory devices, and can be easily connected
to the external memory device that saves the data
collected. When data is extracted using USB, DFPC
100 Mbps Ethernet (Data File Interface PC) is used from the aspect of safe
operation/security measure. (The required data is
transferred from ACS to DFPC, through automatic
operation)
[EMS (Engineering Station)]
EMS is the engineering tool for design and maintenance
of DIASYS Netmation®. Using EMS, we can register and
maintain whole system starting from creating or
changing logics calculated in MPS, creating graphics
and layouts displayed in OPS to configuring the system.
SCG [SCG]
It is a device used as an interface to remote IO panel.
SCG is connected with optical cables.
IOM
[IOA]
It is an interface device that transmits I/O signals from
the I/O module to the SSCG.
Rch [ControlNetTM]
It is an IO network in MPS used as an interface
ACS-B between MPS and I/O signals from the turbine
OPS Router
control module. (Dual configuration of A and B
EMS ACS-A DFPC channels)
[Standby]
[ControlNetTM Adapter]
[Control]
This is the interface between the turbine control
module and the MPS.

4-4. Manual CSV Creation for the Trend Data – (1) Data Usage
When analyzing data or creating graphs in Excel by using the trend data, use the
editable trend data in "CSV format".
The function that converts the trend data to CSV format is called a "medium to long
term trend data CSV storage function".
- When the trend CSV file of a specific period is necessary, manually create and
save the csv file using "DIASYSAcsMLTRsave.exe" tool. After transferring the file
to data file interface PC, extract the data.
This operation is done using ACS.
Usually, ACS operation is prohibited during plant operation.
(4) Select the target period for the data you want to have (5)
as [File output]. (6)
(5) Select the sampling interval of the period you want to output
as "File output".

5-1. Security Items
For security reasons, you can set restrictions (security mode settings) for each
logged-in user in WSM for accessibility to operation/monitoring and functions that
can affect the plant operations.
In order to use the functions that are restricted under security mode, it is necessary
to login into WSM with a user who has the authority to access those functions.
For security items, the operation restriction settings for each user are recorded in
EMS.
(Security Setting Target Operations
[User Login Screen]
Examples)
- Loopplate operation
- Alarm confirm/reset operation
The security items that can be operated differs per login user.

6-4. Middle/Long Term Historical Trend CSV Storage
Function
[About Middle/Long Term Historical Trend CSV Storage Function]
Middle/Long Term Historical Trend CSV Storage Function extracts the data of pre-
registered signals from the middle/long-term trend data automatically stored in ACS and
saves them in a CSV format file.
Since file is in CSV format, data processing/management can be done easily.

1). Collection points: Max. 200 points X
100 groups
2). Storage method:
(1) Automatic storage at regular
intervals
* Settings are required on the EMS.
(2) Manual saving on ACS
Report function supports the operation and management by automatically printing the collected
process data at regular intervals in the form of daily reports and monthly reports.
[Caution]
If there is no free space in HDD because of already saved data in ACS, a serious
ACS malfunction may occur. Normally, warning value of free space is set and the
alarm goes off when the warning value is exceeded. If the warning value is
exceeded, alarm will be generated. When alarm is generated, prevent serious
damage to ACS by deleting unnecessary data within ACS.
[Report Format]
The Engineering & Maintenance Station (EMS) is the device for configuring and
maintaining the control system.
The EMS is composed of the following:
Description Details
1 ORCA Application software which is the base for engineering
(logic components).
2 ORCA File Design data like logics/graphics created exclusively for a
project.
3 ORCA Server The server is a system developed by merging ORCA and
ORCA Files into one.
4 ORCA-View A man-machine interface software to access ORCA
Software Server data (ORCA File).
The ORCA-View is composed of six windows which
divide the data in the ORCA Server for each function.
2. [Logic Window]
This Window is used for creating the control logic.
3. [Graphic Window]
This Window is used for creating the plant graphic window.
4. [HMI Window]
This Window is used for creating the plant operator (loop plate) screen and setting
man-machine interface functions of OPS.
5. [Document Window]
This is a Window to generate lists (Excel format) of signals, graphic components
(valve, etc.) and loop plates in various formats.
6. [Drawing Window]
This is a Window to manage the design documents converted into the printable PDF
files.
Data access

(2) Click the "Operation icon: "
on the ORCA Server Setup
window.

7-9. Comparing/Uploading/Downloading (2/2)
*) To reflect the information of new registered pen of one OPS to other OPS in
a three OPS (a, b, c) system configuration, first upload the information from
OPS-a to EMS (OPS-a⇒EMS), then download the information to OPS-b
(EMS⇒OPS-b) and OPS-c (EMS⇒OPS-c) from EMS.
1. The signals recorded/edited/deleted in an OPS will not be updated in other systems
until the changes are uploaded to EMS and downloaded to all other systems, if not
they will be restricted to the system where the changes were made.
2. After uploading the recorded/edited/deleted signals from OPS to EMS, the changes
made will be reflected in other systems only after downloading them from the EMS.
3. If data is downloaded from EMS to OPS before uploading the changed information,
the recorded/edited/deleted signals will be over written with old data and all the
changes made will be lost.
4. To avoid the troubles during control operation, it is prohibited to download data when
MPS is online. First, switch the MPS to offline mode through the CPU operation
window and then execute Offline Load.
After downloading the data from EMS to MPS, do not forget to download all the data to all the OPS.
