Experiment With AR-DV10

The document discusses using an AOR AR-DV10 receiver as an external digital decoder by combining it with another non-digital decoding AOR receiver. It notes that the AR-DV10 frequency may need to be slightly shifted depending on the IF characteristics of the other receiver. Caution is provided that the AR-DV10 should not be connected to an IF signal that contains voltage as it could damage the receiver.

Have even more fun with your

AR-DV10 receiver!
➡Combine it with another (non-digital decoding) AOR receiver and use it as an
external digital decoder. Happy experimenting!

AR-DV10
Tuned to 10.7 MHz
Mode: AUTO
Due to the IF characteristics of
AR8600MK2, you might have to
shift the AR-DV10 frequency
slightly for successful decoding.

NXDN
AR-DV10 DPMR
Tuned to 10.7 MHz APCO25
Mode: AUTO YAESU C4FM
D-CR

(T-DM, DMR & D-STAR

do not work for this experiment)

AR-DV10
Tuned to 45.05 MHz
Mode: AUTO

Caution: Do not connect an IF signal which contains voltage, as it might damage the AR-DV10. Some non-AOR receivers such as from ICOM
have an IF which carries 9VDC or more. It is your responsibility to check the receiver’s manual. AOR can’t be held responsible for any damage.
