CV Calculation

This document provides formulas for calculating the flow coefficient (Cv) value for control valves based on fluid type and pressure conditions. Six formulas are given for calculating Cv for liquid, steam, and gas under different pressure differential (ΔP) conditions. The formulas relate Cv to flow rate, pressure, temperature, and other fluid properties. Units of measurement are also indicated for each variable.
