1.) Write down how you define yourself in terms of philosophy, psychology, and spirituality. What are
the differences between the three?

Philosophically: As one of my favorite quotes says, "A jack of all trades is a master of none, but
oftentimes better than a master of one". This powerful quote expresses who I am. I've described myself
as a jack because I know myself; I explored, accepted, and took advantage of the fact that I'm a person
who can handle numerous skills and not a master in particular, but most of the time, I'm quite better
than others. Come to think of it, this tells you that I'm an average person who possesses average skills;
Which makes you think that I'm lame or weak, but that's not true. I found this amazing and fun and I'm
very adaptive to all sorts of things or situations. Just like being a student; Academically, I'm not an
excellent student but I'm sure that I'm someone who exceeds expectations. Or just like being a gamer,
who is not on top of leaderboards but is still competent enough to beat a lot of players. Being a sports
player who is not a varsity but is still good enough to be recognized. Or maybe being a not-so-really-
special 18-year-old guy but is still more capable than any other regular 18-year-olds. I know you get
what I'm trying to say, and I tell you that this characteristic of mine? — it is puissant. At least to myself.

Psychologically: I am extroverted. Technically, an outgoing or expressive person unto others. I love

being around people, I love to interact with my friends, loved ones, or strangers… I know, I know. Talking
to strangers can be dangerous or difficult but don't worry, I know the limits. I just love the way of talking
to people and expressing to them what I am. The feeling of exchanging emotions and experiences with
others strengthens my spirit. But a strange fact about myself is that I once hated being extroverted and
wanted to be an introvert. You know, I'm just so unguarded about my personality and thoughts that
people began to humiliate me with how I act. It's like I'm different from people around me and they
push me away. I just wanted to be close to them and tell them my stories. So, I tried to be an introvert
and I know it was a wrong decision. That part of me sucks because I chose to be the person that I'm not.
A person who loves interaction but suddenly, chose to be alone. And that is not me. I'm a person with a
great personality— a good guy. But don't worry, because now I know myself and I love it. Being an
extrovert is diverting, and there is more to that.

Spiritually: I'm both a believer and non-believer of one true god. Being a Christian, I believe in a God
that is omnipotent and who created everything. The one who created the Sun, Moon, and stars; the
Earth, the animals, and the humans. They are all created by a mighty being that can bend reality and
control the entire universe. Though if I think logically, I found it difficult to believe this idea. God is really
interesting, yet confusing. I know this may offend somebody, but sometimes I question the existence of
God, or Jesus Christ, the Angels, Satan, demons, or the Heavens and Hell. "You need faith", they say. Yes,
it's true, faith is a key to Heaven or God himself but I can't stop myself to wonder how legitimate God is.
I mean, the first thing is the Bible. It contains the holy words of the Lord and the past experiences of the
Earth with the presence of Jesus Christ but then there are contradictions in several parts of it. There is
also no solid proof that God exists, it's just the words of God and the idea of his mightiness. There is also
no presence or any physical contact of the Lord with humanity; if he is there, he can communicate with
us. If he has absolute power, he can heal the disabled in an instant. That's the God that I imagine. It's
hard to believe if either God is truly helping us in his way or if it's just he's not there. Although there is
no solid basis for God's existence, I still have faith in him. The intricate flow of the universe and its
existence puts God into question. I mean, what or who created the universe? How can such organisms
like us live on a planet that is very compatible with us? Well, there are more questions left unanswered.
I just hope that the truth will soon come to me. Lastly, Philosophical, Psychological, and Spiritual all of
these things represent my personality but the difference between them are the aspects of my identity.
Philosophy talks about logic and something existing in explanations, while Psychology deals with
behavior and cognition. On the other hand, Spirituality is about conscience and something beyond
explanations.

2.) How does knowing oneself better make a person accept his or her strengths and limitations, and
improve the way he or she deals with others?

- Before discovering ourselves, we tend to blame other people for not reaching our expectations without
being aware if we can give out what we are asking from them. However, this can be avoided once we
discover ourselves. Developing a better understanding of yourself means you are opening yourself up
and you’re becoming aware of the things you do. Becoming aware of yourself makes you realize what
your strengths and weaknesses are. Once we learn what our strengths are, we hone them and move
forward, while we use our weaknesses to aid our strengths. This way, we discover self-acceptance
because we will then know what inspires us and what does not. This will prompt us to make better
decisions in life as we are more focused on what we are trying to accomplish. And it will be easier for us
to let go of the negativities and be confident with our own choices, like how we choose the people we
surround ourselves with. Through understanding ourselves, we get to have a different perspective on
how to interact with other people. It makes it easier for us to relate and show empathy for others, and
detach ourselves from people who don't deserve our energy.

3.) Share some of your unique characteristics, habits, and experiences with your group mates.

-I am an outgoing and creative person who loves to learn new things. I’m always looking for ways to
challenge myself and grow. One of my unique characteristics is my ability to think outside the box and
come up with creative solutions to problems. I am also a good and great listener, which helps me
understand people’s perspectives and build strong relationships. I am passionate about helping others
and making a positive impact in the world.
