AUGUST Activity 1 : Listening Skill
The learners are expected to listen to / see the news and summarize the main points.
SEPTEMBER Activity 2 : Vocabulary
WORD – WEB
The Learners are to use the dictionary as a reference book and note down a word or words and
create a web having definitions, synonyms, antonyms, suffixes – prefixes (if any) and the word
used as a sentence, like the example given below :-

OCTOBER Activity 3 : Grammar


Learners are expected to use appropriate grammatical form of relative pronouns to do the
below activity of STRETCH YOUR WORD as shown :

For eg.

Mrs. White laughed

Mrs. White laughed in her room.
WHY ?

DECEMBER Activity 4 : Writing
Learners are supposed to write a diary entry on the topic given below :-
Imagine you have been selected to represent the school at some event (It could be a sports
meet, a debate, a quiz) Write two diary entries – the first describing how you felt after you were
selected and the second describing what happened when you participated in the event.
JANUARY Activity 5 :
Referring to the immediate environment around us, the learners are required to prepare a post
on "Staying Healthy and Safe"
Activity 6 : Reading - Create an illustrated story / poem.
