    This report summarizes a word learning activity conducted with students at Morong National Senior High School from November 14-25, 2022. The activity encouraged Grade 12 and 11 students to learn one new word per day and use it in a sentence. Student representatives presented the words to their classes and posted videos online. Most participants said they enjoyed learning new vocabulary. They suggested allotting more time for the activity and including more student presenters in the future. The objectives of improving English and Filipino vocabulary skills through exposure to unfamiliar words were successfully achieved.

    Participants’ Description

    Activity Description:

     In this activity, the students are encouraged to learn and master one
    word a day, five days in a week and use these words in a sentence
    or paragraph
     The ISA-LITA and Word of the Day will be posted in the classrooms’
    blackboards or bulletin boards, Student-Representative will record a
    video pronouncing the word to be posted in the HUMSS Society
    Page
     The facilitators are also in charge of the documentation and posting
    in the HUMSS Society Page and narrative / accomplishment report
    of this activity
    Objectives: To encourage students to learn and master
    unfamiliar words and use these words in a sentence
    or paragraph in English and Filipino

    Highlights: Word of the Day and ISA-Lita

    Results/ The objectives were successfully achieved,


    Achievement of and the following were the results:

     They have encouraged other
    students to use the unfamiliar

    managed to add up their
    vocabularies with the different
    words presented each day
