ORGANIZATIONAL ASPECT
Casa De Vege Farm will start as a small undertaking. It will have a flat
organization since the business does not need a top-heavy organization that
drains profit and complicates decisions. The owner will assume the roles of the
manager and make the decisions. Casa De Vege Farm shall be registered with
the local government.
Among the three business forms, sole proprietorship and partnership are
the best option in starting a business since it is easy to establish and organize.
Each structure has a distinct and unique feature that will benefit its owners.
Taking into account both its advantages and disadvantages over the other forms,
‘Casa De Vege Farm’ decided to operate as partnership. The partners will
contribute financially for the business’ starting capital and expenses and will also
combine their skills and put in their personal manual efforts or intellectual
capabilities for the business. Resulting profits and losses will be shared by the
partners based on the ratio of their contributed capital and everyone has a
freedom to make decisions that would bring success to the venture.
The following are the licenses, fees and permits required for the
registration of the business beforehand the operation. Transportation and
incidental expenses included. Since the business offers perishable products it
doesn’t require having an official receipt and invoicing booklet.

6.4 Manpower
Listed below are the needed personnel and staff for the operation of the
business. Included therein are the number of people needed, the monthly salary,
job description, and the qualifications per position.
There is no need for marketing agents because the business will make
use of posters, flyers, signboards, radios, newspapers advertisements and
through the use of technology- with the help of social media and websites for
more information about us. It is not necessarily to hire separate employee for this
task.

Schedule of Business
The business tends to operate from Monday to Sunday, morning from 6:00 AM to
9:00 AM maximizing the 3-hour work schedule for planting, watering, cleaning/weeding
and cultivation (includes the application of organic fertilizer.) The afternoon session for
temperature controlling and other necessary chores until the night will be the owner’s
job since the location of the greenhouse is at the owner’s residential area.
