Which technique does this sample answer use?

How often do you go swimming?

Oh, all the time. Actually, I’m not a great swimmer but I like splashing
around in the water. I tend to go swimming with my mother at the pool
near my house. We usually go in the evening about once a week. I go
swimming to relax after work and get some exercise.

Which technique does this sample answer use?

Do you prefer to watch TV or read the newspaper?

oh, I prefer to watch TV rather than read the newspaper. The reason is that reading
the newspaper requires a lot of time and concentration while watching TV is very
easy. I mean I just have to sit back and watch my favorite comedy series such as
Friends and the Big Bang theory. I can even do other things like eat my meal,
exercise and even study while the TV is on. However, if you watch too much TV, it
can be very harmful to your eyes.

Where can you see wild animals?

A.R.E.A
I can see wild animals in such places as zoos, aquariums or
national parks because they are where animals are
conserved. I can see powerful hunters like tigers and lions, or
even marine mammals such as whales and sharks there.

www.ielts-fighter.com
In which country do you think you can see many wild animals?

A.R.E.A
Answer: Australia
Reason: island, isolated from the rest of the world, lack of
predator
Example: Kangaroos, koalas

www.ielts-fighter.com
In which country do you think you can see many wild animals?

A.R.E.A
I think Australia is home to a diversity of wildlife. The reason for
this is that the whole country is an isolated island, and there is a
lack of predators. Australia’s fauna develops, which also leads to
its biodiversity. Interestingly, most of Australia’s wildlife is found
nowhere else in the world, like their famous kangaroos, koalas.

What (kinds of work you do for the job) How (you get the job)

Describe an ideal job you’d like to do in the future.
I’m going to talk about my ideal job which is becoming a college teacher teaching English
language in the future.
Well, you know, unlike other jobs, to be a teacher in a college or university, you are required
to hold a master degree, so I plan to take a MA course in language teaching in UK next year.
Gone are the days when a teacher was merely seen as a classroom mentor who just teaches
subjects and goes home after the day job is done. Teachers nowadays, in my opinion, play
two main roles: be an educator and an inspirer. As an educator, teachers’ responsibility is to
impart knowledge to their students to help them learn new things about a specific group of
subjects, and as an inspirer, teachers will inspire their students with critical thoughts, moral
values and desire for lifelong learning.

Describe an ideal job you’d like to do in the future.
The reason why I choose to be a teacher in the future is that it’s a really rewarding job. In
Vietnam, teaching is always considered as a noble profession that gains respect in society
because teaching or educating can make a difference in the lives of others. Regarding
financial benefits, being a teacher can earn a good salary on a pay scale that climbs with
experience.
It’s still a long way to go to my dream career, and I am sure that there are many things that
need to be done and learnt to be a teacher in the future.
