and its function, let’s
dig deeper, now the
question is how do
you work with these
three components of
a ribbon (tabs,
groups and
commands) by
creating power point
presentation

We will discuss the


toolbars/commands
that are useful in
creating PowerPoint
presentation with
images.

Let’s dig deeper we are going


to focus on the Insert tab.

insert a picture in the slide to
help the students navigate
and move around the
PowerPoint application by
discussing the procedure in
inserting a stock picture from
a computer and insert a
picture from the web)

Procedures (inserting images


from computer)

a. Click where you want to insert


the picture on the slide.
b. On the Insert tab, in
the Images group,
click Pictures and then
click This Device.

c. In the dialog box that opens,


browse to the picture that you
want to insert, click that picture,
and then click Insert.

Tip: If you want to insert multiple


pictures at the same time, press and
hold the Ctrl key while you select all the
pictures you want to insert.
Inserting stock images on slide

a. Click where you want to insert the


picture on the slide.
b. On the Insert tab, in
the Images group,
click Pictures and then click Stock
Images.

c. Type in what image you're looking


for, then click on which images
you want and click Insert.

Inserting a picture from the web


on slide

a. Click where you want to insert the


picture on the slide.
b. On the Insert tab, in
the Images group,
click Pictures and then click Stock
Images.
c. In the search box type in the
image, you're looking for and
press enter. 
d. Select all the images you want and
then click Insert.

Insert a background picture on


a slide

a. Right-click the margin of


the slide and then
select Format
Background.
b. In the Format
Background pane,
choose Picture or
texture fill.
c. Under Insert picture
from, choose where to
get the picture from:

d. To adjust the picture's relative


lightness, slide
the Transparency bar to the right.

Ma’am, it is important for us that we are


familiar with the toolbar/ command and
also their function in creating slides in
PowerPoint presentation.

Ma’am it is significant that we are familiar

e. To apply the background picture
to all slides in your presentation,
choose Apply to All. Otherwise,
simply close the Format
Background pane.
