Course Title: Constitutional Law 2 (Sections A,E,F) Professor (s): Atty. Patricia Anne D. Sta. Maria

I. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES

This course will cover the following portions of the 1987 Philippine Constitution:
Articles 3, 4, 5, 13, and 14.

Case List 2022-2023

Bernas, A Commentary on the 1987 Constitution, 2009 edition.

III. COURSE REQUIREMENTS AND GRADING SYSTEM

30% - Recitation and Quizzes


30% - Midterm Exam
40% - Final Exam

IV. CLASS POLICIES

1. Attendance will be called at the start of each session. If you miss the first call, you will be considered
late (half-cut). If you miss the second call you will be considered absent for the entire session (1.5
hours).
2. The cut system will be strictly enforced. Only absences excused by the OHS’ covid policy and/or
the Dean will not be counted against your available cuts. Other serious illnesses or emergencies
may likewise be considered.
3. If you are called to recite and you are, for any reason other than an excused absence, not in the
room, you will be given a 65.
4. Electronics are allowed but are only to be used for note taking or referencing notes, codals, and
cases. All gadgets must be put on silent mode.
5. No coaching during recitation. If a student is caught coaching, the professor reserves the right to
give said student and the person reciting a 65.
6. Before you stand for recitation, close all books, screens, and similar items on your desk. Unless
specifically told to do so, no reading during recitations.
7. Show courtesy to both your classmates and the professor. Avoid talking, making unnecessary noise,
or otherwise being distracting while someone is reciting.
8. Please wear masks properly while in the classroom.
9. If classes are being held online, cameras must be turned on.
10. For all class-wide concerns, please course them through the beadle. For student-specific subject
matter concerns, you may e-mail me directly.
11. The professor reserves the right to adjust, add to, or subtract from these class policies, as will be
discussed in class.
