Course Objective:

This course is designed to give an overview of the concepts and application of


organizational behavior in changing world of work the focus will be on newly emerging
paradigm in the field of management the main objective of the course is to understand the
basic concepts and understand how the organizations respond to internal and external
dynamic environment individually and collectively. Students are expected to develop
analytical and conceptual framework of how people and organizations behaved in small,
medium and large public and private national and international organizations.

Course Requirement:

 Attendance is an important part of course completion.


 80% Class attendance is mandatory. Students can avail maximum of Six (6) absents.
 For each absent 0.5% marks will be deducted from attendance.
 Students on seventh (7th) absent shall not be allowed to attend the lectures or any
kind of exam/assessment, and will get dropped from the class and graded ‘F’
 Come up with the feedback and full preparation for the next class.
 Students in class will be expected to contribute effectively to class discussions based
not only on common sense and personal experience, but also on the required
readings.
 Class participation is compulsory and contains marks.
 Quality and quantity of participation will be considered, Occasional excuses or
technical issues will be ignored.
 During on campus classes face mask and maintaining safe distance is compulsory,
else you will be asked to leave class.
 During online classes it is student’s responsibility to make sure that the device
he/she is using has no audio, video, availability and connectivity issue. No excuse
regarding this will be entertained in class.
 Students at all time expected to show high standards of disciplines and humanly
qualities.
 To successfully complete this course, students must achieve a passing grade of 50%.
 Examination would be short answer and essay type.
 There will be an open book, take home, essay Mid and Final examination that
covers the entire course till that point, both class lectures and discussions as well as
the required reading.
 Students are advised to get prepared for Assignment / Quiz / Discussion /cases study
discussion as announced in class or mentioned in course outline.
 Tests/examinations/assignments must be submitted at the time specified, so strictly
follow the deadlines regarding assignments and projects etc.
 Requests for adjustments to that schedule must be made before the
test/exam/assignment date to the faculty member.
 Failure to do so will result in a mark of “0”, unless an illness/emergency can be
proven with appropriate documentation at no cost to the College.
 Assignments through email are not accepted in any case unless approved from
program director/HOD/Dean, in special cases.
 Student’s name, registration no, subject name, semester and assignment/quiz no
must be clearly written on the top of your submissions.
 Online submissions that are attachment based must be in Microsoft Word format.
 We have strict plagiarism policy, all kind of work must be in your own words, no cut
copy paste in any case is allowed.
 The subject of your online submissions must be written as:
Name/Reg.no. /Assign. No./semester (e.g.: Ali
Khan/2151345 /Quiz 1/Fall 21)

Instructor’s Role:
 To help, encourage and motivate students for the development of basic skills of the
course.
 To prepare students for the local as well as for the international markets.

Student’s Role:
 To exchange and polish the skills of the course by continuous practice with the help
of text book, reference books, assignments, projects, presentations and quizzes.

Governing Rules
 Students are advised to go through the rules and regulations governing their class
attendance, display of college ID card, use of mobile phones, eating, smoking,
roaming, general behavior etc. on the campus.
 Any violation thereof is punishable under the relevant rules.
